Crowley was inspired by a combination of things from the Golden Dawn, to Kabbalah, to Tantra. His teachings in turn were a major influence on his student Gardner who is one of the major founders in the religion of Wicca. You can still see Crowley's influence in a number of thigns(notably his defenition of magick, the use of the k in magick, and preforming rituals "skyclad" were all directly inspired from Crowley).
