I was just wondering if anyone knows about the Men in Black or MIB I've seen the two movies the first being the better of the two. But my question is are they real? Or are they just a urban myth? Some websites (it might have been this one I'm not sure) said that they acted jumpy and one website said that they might be aliens. But I'm having a hard time believing that the MIB might be aliens.

Thankies,
Magikman
The search function is you friend, Cuda, I'll merge your post with a similar one that offers quite a few opinions and information. There are several other posts on the forum that also debate their possibility.

If they exist, I think they are probably humans.

I doubt that they are part of any government agency though, as they have been seen worldwide. They probably have connections with a lot of governments though.

Personally, I think it would be interesting to meet one.

If they exist then they are probably monitoring this forum!!! This is good because I need to get in touch with them.
To the MIBS:

Help. The Grays abducted me again last night. This time, they made me play twister in a pink milk maid uniform.
What are you being payed for??? Like typical government employess, you are spending too much time eating donuts and reading cheap romance novels.
If MIBs had zippers on thier heads, they would take out thier brains and play with them!!!!
Please MIBs, Moe cannot stand it anymore. Save me tonight or I shall unviel Geroge Bush's true identity.
Love,

yes, i believe in MIB
o.k.
whiskey and coke beside me, here's my story-

-a little background-
1989-I had just gotten out of the ARMY, and I was going to college to get a degree in bio-medical electronic technologies.
When we would go to lab classes I would always build my circuits different than everybody else.( i would ad extra components into the circuit that would make it work easier, faster, have less POWER consumption, more effecient.) I would continueally get told by my prof.'s, that I needed to stop.I would ask"stop what ?" One day, one of the Prof.'s told me I was going to blow up my board if I wasn't careful. I asked him what he meant, and he said " that if I keept adding coils and capacitive plates, I was going to fry everything in my circuits, not to mention half the circuits in the classroom. So STOP. - I was no longer aloud to build circuits to the specifications I would come up with. I had to build pre diagramed circuits.
By this time a had already started doing high frequency/high voltage experiments in my garage with 3 other friends. Two were from school, 1 was/is a really good/close friend. We were reproducing some of Teslas' experiments and coming up with others of our own. About 2 1/2 months into these experiments we all started noticing cars hanging out around my house area. All kinds. Alot of different service type of vehicles. Within a couple of weeks it turned into BLACK vehicles.
They were everywhere. 3 to 4 houses down in both directions. At the end of the block, and then around the next corner. All four of us were experiencing this.
About 4 to 5 months into this we got a visitor, supposedly from the electric company. We were told that high voltage power surges had been picked up down town and that they had been traced to my transformer. He asked if he could look inside all the premises to see if he could find the problem. He was told NO. He said, now get this, "that i was sending out resonant power-surges that were feeding back through the power companys equipment and could possibly damage it. So i needed to stop whatever it was that i was doing. He left and we all freaked out. Down town is 12 miles away, and goes through atleast 4 relay stations before it hits my pole.
Anyway, we changed our set-up a little and isolated our selves from the power grid and made our selves two more coils of the same size we had been using. We put them together and ran it as one coil. We fired it up 3 days after our first warning.(by this time us four and my wife were starting to think the world was made out of black vehicles.)We fired up the coil long enough to tune it, about 10-15 minutes. about 5 min. later we turned it back on.Continuouse. We had 1 million volts at the tip of the coil and 50 thousand volts ambient, in the air. After 12 minutes, of timed time, a power service truck pulled up in front of my drive way, very abruptly, and another vehicle went speeding by. We were standing in my garage doorway watching. The man was very upset. He came down my driveway yelling that they would press charges for any destroyed equipment and if anything caught on fire or exploded we would be arrested for that to.
The man yelled some more, tried to get a reaction then left. Visibly Pissed.
When we went back in to the garage, the power was out. Lasted an hour. Over the next two days we prepared to move out doors, for room. We then discovered that 4 out of five of our transformers were fried. The lacquer had apparently broken down and turned sticky.(yea right ). All transformers were shorted out and unuseable.
9 plate sized spark gaps were also destroyed: pitted, etched and eaten away beyond use.( like they had been sprayed with acid )
This stopped our experiments. We were not rich, we were students.
Two weeks later one of our group died from an " undiagnosed illness". Spilled something on himself at work, three days later, dead. sad.gif
within 2 days of our equipment going down, the black vehicles stopped hanging around. After a couple of weeks there were no more Black vehicles.

5 years ago me and one of the other guys started building coils again, Along with a new guy. My good friends cousin. He had just gotten out of the military and had considerable knowledge of high voltage/frequency. We had nothing but problems, But we did start getting good results again.
AND guess what. They were back. We were only at 500k volts. Barely 5k ambient.
But they were back. Instead of the black cars just being around, they followed us.
Short distances, but we would see them places, parked in weird places, where you wouldn't normally see cars parked.

We never were able to get the results we had the first time. Not enough money or time. As our experiments kinda stalled out, the black vehicles faded away.
I'm doing Some magnetic research now that coincidentally will hopefully eventually merge with my other experiments.

Thats my experience. Sorry about the length.
I need a cig.
(gawd, i can already feel the crap thats gonna come from this one)(OH WELL..) tongue.gif
Stellar
Can you take a picture of your current experiment and post it here?

alien.gif alien.gif alien.gif the MIB? hahaha, no way in the seven hells. they are just figures in a funny movie with a talking dog. they dont EXIST. alien.gif alien.gif alien.gif
sasass
I will see if one of the other guys will bring their digital over, and we'll upload what is left.
The primary's are in two or three pieces,
and the secondary, is partially stripped down.Missing about half.
- one of my kids' used it for a science fair experiment this year.
- - ( he stripped down mine to make a smaller one of his own )- -
I do however still have three of the transformers, in good shape, in their cabinet waiting to run.
I haven't used these things in years.
As far as magnetic research, no.
It's mostly on paper and some small wooden frames with magnets.

Sorry, I didn't have Permission to post some information and I had to remove it.
( it was concerning a web site. Its a personal group site. Pics are no longer there.)

My apologies. dontgetit.gif

I don't believe in aliens, but if I did, I think the most frightening part of the whole experience would be a visit from these guys, judging on what I have read on the net!

How can you judge what you heard about them on the net if you dont believe.

Honestly...
hunterkiller2001
MIB were said to have been underneath the bridge in Point Pleasant, WV a day or so before it collapsed.

Books and movies have since blamed that tragic event on the Mothman, but if you can track down the actual eye-witness statements, they actually state they saw MIB under there.

Smith and Jones aside, I believe in the MIB.

There was a UFO incident ten miles from my house, the incident was on 'Unexplained Mysteries' cable tv. The odd part was that the firehouse was summoned and the firemen also saw the UFO. The men in black came to see these firemen at the firehouse. The men in black told the firemen not to discuss the incident with anyone. It was sort of a warning. ph34r.gif This fireman appeared on tv and said he didn't know who these people were or if they were even with the government, but he was going to talk... and talk he did, on national tv. original.gif
Fenris
I think 99% of MiB 'sightings' are due to overactive imaginations of conspiricy theorists.... the other 1% being legit investigators (MI5, MI6, CIA, FBI, etc.) who just happen to wear dark coloured suits but can't really be classed as 'MiB'
BurnSide
MiB is a made up concept from a freaking movie.
This forum only shows the stupidity of human beings and their desire to believe anything they are told.

If you believe in the MiB, you must also believe that the Grinch is a real person who lives in a real place and really did steal christmas. It's the same thing, a STORY. Not real. Gawd.
Babs
It's interesting, but I have read where the U.S. government would like to meet the MIB, too. They have encouraged people to report the MIB so that they can investigate. whistling2.gif

I believe in the WIB because women in black suits turn me on they look more professional.

Come on, why on earth would there be a need for MIB? When we have CIA, FBI, Secret Service, NSA. I mean Im more worried of these guys than a Man in Black, Im more worried about the guy dressed like a junkie on the streets who I think might be waiting to break into my house when all he was doing was disguising himself for a drug bust in my neighborhood.

Babs
When the 'down to earth' segment of our society such as police and firemen start saying they have seen MIB and UFO's I start listening.

Yes, it's true Fenris, you can't believe everything you read, however, I am not just going by reading material. As I stated before we have had firemen here talk on national tv about this very subject.
Fenris
*SNARF* How many Firemen do you know in Real life? I've known a few and they are just as capable of flights of fancy and tall tales as any other segment of the population!
reese2
Well, I agree, it is always important that we all remember that even those who hold jobs that require some level of dignity, they are still people, with imaginations.

It boils down to one simple thing, it is 'possible' that MIB's exist, but seems more likely there are banausic explanations as to their sightings.
Babs
Know quite a few police men and women...all salt of the earth types. My best friend is a policewoman, Fenris, and my occupation involved 'working closely' with the police.

Like I said, I am inclined 'to believe'... when they say something.

As for firemen...known a few in my time. laugh.gif wub.gif

People in uniform are still JUST people! People have imaginations whether or not they work for the police force, fire department, hospital or as a big top clown!

People in dark coloured suits are JUST people....
Conspiricy theorists will let their imaginations run riot at the drop of a hat!
reese2
Yes they will Fenris..

What I don't understand is most everyone looks at a 'skeptic' and says that we are just too hard nosed, and wouldn't believe in anything.. I say, it would be wonderful to believe in something of this magnitude. But, I absolutely refuse to believe in anything paranormal or strange, unless proveable with a certain level of degree. There are so many things that we could all say, 'maybe' to, but that isn't very astute or logical.

I want to believe, but show me the proof!!!! (Any will suffice) whistling2.gif

You know since my home seems to have a great deal of strange happenings there have been police, fire dept. paramedics...crawling all over my place for years. I've gotten to know the entire crew here in my town, now, and they seem to be a responsible and stable lot... also.

(Not to get off topic....but you should know Fenris an Aries ascendent person with a lot of Aries and fire in their chart would be in tight with the firemen and the police dept. w00t.gif )

So, anyway, I have read documented incidents with UFO's, MIB... with police talking about their experiences. I also know of police and firemen living in the near-by town that have actually experienced this phenomena and told their story on tv. You probably even saw this on tv....cable network; it was on the Discovery Channel or Unexplained Mysteries or Sci-fi....can't remember which. So, your statement about not believing everything you read, is irrelevant.
Fenris
Really? It doesn't matter if its magazines, radio or T.V..... sorry to burst your bubble but its ALL media and media loves a story.... the more idiotic and wacky the better.... they are filler storys for people to LAUGH at in between the usual fair of doom and gloom on the news!

Doesn't mean it is believable... heck doesn't even mean THEY believe it... they can just report that somebody DOES believe it then wander off to the bar and laugh at them afterwards!

You really should take in what fenris is saying, it is true, true indeed.. They don't check ones credentials before letting them on air to tell a 'story' they basically check the story.

I know what show you are talking about. Bryant Gumble hosted it. From what I remember the town was split in their thinking that something mysterious had happened in their town. The majority was NO, nothing had happened that wasn't easily explained. If you are going to take into great credit the people that were claiming that something extra terrestrial had happened that one night, wouldn't it then be short sided, on your part, to not take into account the other police officers and firemen that were in the same county that evening, that said that NOTHING had happened?? You are so quick to look to the ones that have a very interesting story, yet not even bother looking at the equally reliable sources that say nothing happened. (Both sides seem equal in credentials and morals, so why go with the side that has the extraordinary stories?) We all want something to be 'out there' but making it up because it is easier, does not make it real.

I walked away after watching that, not believing in their experiences anymore than before I watched the show. Sorry, but I do see the fallaciousness that comes along with putting too much credence in anyone's statements merely because of their job or title, let alone the fact that they managed to land themselves on TV.

The most credible sightings of anything paranormal are often the ones that are buried for lack of enthusiastic storyline. Those should be the ones that are looked at more deeply, but alas, they don't sell so much, for lack of entertainment value.

Even in some cases where they legaly SHOULD check credentials'

CF Daily Mirror, Iraq abuse photos..... which proved to be fake (Some reservists trying to make a fast buck) leading to the very justified sacking of Piers Morgan.

The paper wanted a particular type of story and 'found' one..... its how the majority of media works. EVERY media outlet has its own agenda.... thats why you can't just take from one isolated source, you get as many diffrent perspectives as possible and balence out the weight of probabilitys from there.

For every one person saying they saw MiB, or little grey men.... there are usualy dozens who where in the area who saw NOTHING! They get reduced to footnotes because thats not the story that will sell the paper... or boost the ratings!

I'm aware of all this. laugh.gif You are trying to convince the wrong person; I have a thread here in the "Sightings, Reports and Experiences" section entitled, "Documented Incidents with UFO's". reese...That isn't the incident I was talking about. That was a famous incident with tons of media coverage, I'm talking locally here...an incident that I know of personally that happened to get on tv.

Uh, ok.....

But, one last note... For every person that further spreads 'facts' that are really not fact about UFO's or MIB's, it does take away from any credible evidence there is out there, that should be taken, and looked at seriously.. disgust.gif huh.gif

What I mean, so that everyone is clear, is that you are actually, by not looking at things from a complete objective point of view, doing more harm to the serious investigation of this phenomenom.

I believe you, I really do.. I have seen my share as well, and I am not a skeptic.. (Well, not as much as you think) I am more skeptic of people than of the actual phenomenom... Why won't you give me the name of the town you are talking about? You used that as a point in your posts.. I have been researching UFO's for almost ten years now. Believe me, I know a lot about it.

Chances are that you know that I would be able to point out reasons why your town sighting is not as credible as you think, and that is my guess as to why you will not name it. If you say that it wasn't the town Bryant Gumble did his special on, then tell me the name so that I can know exactly to what you are referring in your posts. If you do not clue us in to what you are talking about, how are we to either disagree or agree with your postings?

I take this thing and my study on it very seriously, that is why, I simply cannot just say that something exists or happened without looking at it from all angles.

The 'human condition' can cause more ruckus than you would ever like to admit, and you must look at that as well, when totaling everything about a sighting together.

Thanks,

Reese

Sorry reese....for some reason I'm not tracking this topic. Okay, now what? I'll give you the town, it was on tv. Union Township firehouse...Clermont County, Ohio.

My husband and I saw a UFO back in 73' at the greater Cincinnati Airport. No one said anything about this till 20 yrs. or so later on the local news channel. The tv news wanted anyone who had seen a UFO back in the summer of 73' to call in. It looks like a lot of people saw this UFO. The thing that gets me the most is the fact that it took the city 25 yrs. to bring it up.

What is your interest? Do you work in this field?
moe eubleck
Babs.

isnt it obvious ? Reese is one of the MIBs. You have gone to far this time Babs. Repent thy sins or be memory zapped.

The firehouse was called to the scene of...well, a truck had a UFO beside it and before their very eyes the UFO disappeared. I know, it sounds crazy, but I have read about incidents where there is dematerialization. Then the MIB visited the men at the firehouse and told this fireman not to say anything...in fact to forget what they saw. That's the story...if you could find out any more about this incident and share it with us, I would appreciate it.

No Babs, I do not work in this field. I have seen UFO's. As you know, once you see one, it changes you from skeptic to believer. It is very important though that one shoud remain skeptical about all they read or hear within the media on the subject. It is all too easy to get swept away in the hype.

Thanks for the town info though. Without it, it is impossible to determine which sighting you are talking about.. As you can see, I equated your sighting with another. They are all very similar.

Reese

Tell me about the UFO's you have seen. You can call the firehouse if you'd like. original.gif

Many sightings are at airports and military installations.
reese2
I can see if I can dig up anything for ya Babs, but to be honest, my approach is to always try to disprove something, versus prove that something occured. You will find that is the best way in determining factual events, atleast when UFO's, abductions, or even MIB are concerned.
