I made a message board a while back with the same pictures.
Were they the ones that were washed up from the deep following the Tsunami?

No, that was just a rumor going around. They are actually from an expedition. I cant remember the link for it though.

1st one looks like a sand crab except zoomed way in. The 2nd one looks like a weird fish I found at Seal Beach, CA.

I figured they'd already been posted. My boyfriend sent me the pictures with the whole tsunami story and I was like "I'll post em on UM".
Interesting link MadEyePixie.

Those pics are very old,and some retards started the original rumor that those are from a tsunami

Anyway, the first pic is of a pearl deep sea isopod, second is a deep sea chimaera, third is a deep sea umbrella fish, fourth is a Prickly dogfish.Btw,MadEyePixie, that site you posted has been posted on here multiple times before.

I'm sorry, what do you mean by the tsunami as being a urban legend. When the tsunami hit, some strange sea creatures did arrive on the shore of countries, from what I know. So (not trying to start an argument, just having a normal conversation), what do you mean?

indeed i imagine many odd creatures did wash up post tsunami...
but these creatures in the photos were photographed a long time before the tsunami disaster occured....
but people have put these photos and the tsunami incident together to form a sort of fake/myth/legend with a real event but with photos that aren't from the same time....

Oh, thankyou - Well yeah I'm sure many people could/would take pictures of these random fish and combine it with the tsunami event and say that these fished washed up ashore. But what effect and what mystery does that have on us?

As it turns out, its actually two pictures, one of the marine, and one of a shark jumping out of the water. They were combined. Clever stuff.
