A team of South African doctors and scientists claimed Wednesday they had cloned a cow, creating Africa's first successfully cloned animal.
The two and a half-week-old calf -- named Futi -- was cloned by Doctors Morne de la Rey and Robert Treadwell, veterinarians at the Embrio Plus Embrio And Al Center in the town of Brits, as well as Gabor Vajta, a Danish professor.
