i was actually talking about the people that this topic is about... and all the other people that non-believers have brought up just to say that christianity as a whole is evil.

not that i lump all christians into one pile, but my experiences with christians has been more negative than positive. (i have suffered persecution by christians of RC, mormon, J witness, fundies, and bible literalists)

The problems are usually with the more staunch/fundie types that take the bible literally. I know people that are christian and recognize the errors in the bible and they are fine.

Now as for christianity being evil, I get that impression from the bible itself. Alas, this is not a thread on the (in my opinion) impurities and incompleteness of christianity. Best not to debate a religion with one who is devoutly of said religion, for absolute belief and open-mindedness are mutually exclusive.

Were these protesters at the trial or imprisonment of Mathew sheperds killers? If they are so busy quoting the bible how about, "Thou shalt not kill". They could take some banners and harass the murderer's family. If the murderers are in a maximum security prison, I think odds are very good that they are "gay" by now as well. Does that mean they are burning in hell too?
