ok i understand theres a need to keep this forum lively but whats with the current trend of just bringing up old photos that have been posted hundreds of times and making another topic on them...

it just seems like people are trying to boost there posts by repeating prevous topics, i mean we've had the bigfoot/mothman/nessie/chupacabra photo threads so many times...

anyway i just thought i'd point this out, as just bringing up the same photos doesn't actually improve anyones knowledge of the creatures in question....

But it helps answers peoples questions. Theres new people who join this forum every day and have questions. Were just trying to help them and make it easier. If we didn't continue to keep repeating old topics (that have not yet to been solved), the only thing we could actually talk about is the latest news...(bland/boring). Anyways, a forum is a place where people could be free by either asking questions or posting. Trust me, I don't care about my posts. I'm not here to have the most posts. I'm here because I truly love cryptozoology/unexplainable mysteries and thats why I continue to post on this site. To help others and myself on whats going on.

there is a search feature for the newer members...

and talking about the same subject/picture/story is rather more bland/boring than trying to find some new cryptids to discuss me thinks....

Well, (not trying to suck up) - but I look for cryptids all the time and its pretty hard to find the newest.

I did post up Chupie and that strange globster creature though -

indeed you did, and thats what this forum needs, a bit of searching and something fresh, although globsters have been a subject many times before, but not for ages...

i just get sick of the same old pictures with no real need for them, and no real subtance to the post other than already seen/proved fake/dismissed pictures.

Mysteryman
Wait, are you talking about already seen pictures and/or already talked about subjects?

same pictures, with no real information, other than the picture....

yes by all means put the photo up again if new information has surfaced about it, but other than that theres really no need....

Well obviously you have directed that at me.Now,i have said MANY times the reason for the threads. They are for people that do not know about these cryptos.I am tired of explaining the same things everyday,so i figured i would post some threads to answer everybody's questions.Doesn't take a genious to figure all that out...
Walken
Let us remember that many people won't have seen these photo's before, and evreyones always up for continued debate.
Mysteryman
I am imagining this in my head as Mr. Halo reads this:
*Thinks to himself* Mr.Halo: Use the search.

Mr H,

What is the purpose of this post then??? boosting your postings. There a re new people joing these posts evryday and their input into Bigfoot is important even if the forums have covered it a thousand times... You don't have to share your opinions in them again if you feel it has been covered many times before, no one is forcing your opinions out of you... find new cryptiod and post it if you want new conversation?
Canadian Rottweiler
Exactly,i agree

Mr.Halo,if you don't agree with some threads, and are annoyed by em,then why are you looking and reading them? blink.gif
Mysteryman
Just learn to ignore my friend - learn to ignore those you do not want to hear - in this case though, dont read =)
XSAS
No it is not fair to ignore... everyone has an opinion, even if they are wrong... Joking?
Mysteryman
I think you took it the wrong way. I was telling Mr.Halo if he doesn't like what were discussing or is getting annoyed by what people are typing, just ignore what is being written and move on. I'm not telling people to ignore Mr. Halo - I would never say that. I said if he has a problem, people aren't going to change so just move on...

I am very new to this sight and i absolutely LOVE to look at the pictures, pictures help me out a lot because most of the time i wind up going thro a google search and looking for pictures of things people on here have talked about. THANKS EVERYONE FOR PICTURES!!!
Mysteryman
Welcome? Lol.
Walken
It actually seems like SOME people are complaining about stuff that can really just be ignored so they can increase THEIR post count.

Am I right?
MJB222
Oh-well, without them the cryptozoology forum would be less lively and boring.
Walken
If no one posted pics that had already been posted, the forum would be desserted and inactive.

No one wants that.
MJB222
Actually, before it was kinda like that
Walken
Before what?
MJB222
I meant a couple of weeks ago.
Walken
Oh. Nothings really changed since then though. Except Mysterey man became a crypt freak, Canadian Rottwiller is makeing appearances again, and I'm spending a lot more time here instead of the general board.
