LBD, good point. God is our father, our parent, our creator.... he only puts in our paths what we need to grow as people... that is what he does.. it is said in the bible that the worst sin of all is turning your back on God.. the first commandment is to have no other Gods, right?

Being omnipotent (Knowing all) Adam and Eve would not have been tempted in the garden, The great flood, tsunami all the mass killings (By your God) would not have happened. The pain and suffering....Want me to continue with the list? I would not have left my "Great experiment" alone for so long.

God allowed Adam and Eve to be tempted, just as he allows us to be tempted, it shows faith....
God made the flood because of the evil or imorality of the world...
Pain and suffering is created by man-- drugs, poverty, MONEY, hate, war, poaching, need I go on?

Perhaps God seems cruel to allow such atrocitys to happen to his creation because He knows that our earthly existence is but a few seconds of our total existence.
Where we only see the few years we have here on earth.

O.K. LBD, The Bible say all men with knowledge of good and evil sin. There seems to be conflicting arguments some christians say men are tempted to sin others say it's free will some say it's both. I suppose you believe it's free will correct me if I'm wrong, then this next question of mine would be unnecessary to your belief.

If this is so all men commit sin with knowledge of good and evil, then let's say people do get in heaven it's not like they would forget what evil is. They would still be able to cause sin. Therefor would it be possible that evil will exist in heaven?

zandore... God is angry, full of wrath, and vengeful, but righteously so, he punished those that persecuted jesus, he destroyed those that were blasphemous, and he gets mad when we turn our backs on HIM, the one that created US!!!

The flood was before Jesus and it was all Gods doing.

sin is commiting worldly actions, we are forgiven for sin, in heaven, we will not commit worldly actions, because we wont be of the world but strictly of God.

but he did it for the immorality and evil that overtook the world.. to clean it..
