If you had a chance to ask god just one question what would it be ?

I think I would ask "where are you?" But I think I know what god would tell me, it would just bring me clarification and comfort as to what I already knew.

All the best

I would ask God this:

"How can I find your truth?"

I believe in God, I just want to find out if everything is true.

And he would say, 42.

I accually would ask.. but posting my questions here.. would probaly insite flames...

What are the terms, Faeden? You have the chance to ask God any question? That's of course if you meant that he would respond to it. Otherwise, things would be just the sam e - you can ask him all the questions you'd like and he'll answer it anyway. But not exactly with a voice.

lol Faeden, your topic has to do with proving his existence doesn't it original.gif

God, could you tell me if you created the universe or no one created it ?

That could mean anything! I knew someone would post a question like that..
If you walked up to your friend and asked "why?" what do you think they are going to do? They wont have any idea what your talking about...do you think God will have any idea what your asking? Most people would respond with "Why what?"..do you think God would say anything different in response to your question?
..Im just going to end right here before i get myself worked up. wacko.gif

Anyway..My question would be: What did the bible get wrong?

I would ask why and if he's an all knowing God he would know the answer. Otherwise, he could just say Why not?

Really, why would be for my own personal reasons, because right now, I'm not seeing much meaning in anything. Just a simple answer to why we go through this little hell called life would be enough.
sultanmuratova
i would probably just ask what my purpose is in life.

"IF" there is a God and IF I could ask him a question it would be.....WHY?

My question to the Big Guy...hmm...

Was Adam really a human? Or was he the first organism on this "Rock"?

The truth...
After all of the fighting and bickering over it, it would be refreshing to "know" the truth about it right from his/hers/its mouth (granted he/she/it had one grin2.gif )

No I already believe in a divine being. My reason for asking was a sneaky one, I wont go into it now, but I asked it because its a way of finding out about someone, and there reason for there belief, each answer given, gives me an insight into the person that answered it, its a way of looking into someone’s soul with out them knowing it, I am learning things at the moment about the psychology of God, and the beliefs that come with it. Belief started with a question, one that is only answered at the end, its based on occult knowledge gathered together by people that study all the philosophies of all faiths. I am more enlightened than I ever was about some of the folks here thumbsup.gif

There are no specifics about this question, its just if you got the chance to ask just one question to God who ever you view him or her as, what would you ask? And that God will answer you honestly and directly, whether its something you want to hear or not.

All the best

Not even an all knowing being can know what the snizzlesticks you mean when you ask "Why?". It just doesnt make sense to use it with out something being said before hand that would leave you confused and/or dumbfounded! Thats like going into a log cabin somewhere in Nebraska and saying "Pepsi Mc. Twist!"..it doesnt make sense unless you use it in some kind of context.

Michelle
Is there any way we could ever achieve peace and harmony?

This one sentence...."An all knowing being". Lets see if He/She/It did not know what I was going to ask then He/She/It is not "All knowing " then right?
Shivel
If he/she/it would know what you were talking about when you ask "Why?" then why would you even have to ask the question? what your saying is that this thread is unnecassary because God would know the question before we asked!

Thanks for ruining our fun zandore. crying.gif tongue.gif

Why are you existant?

[With the 'why' its a very nice question. Most people view God as all knowing, so he would know exactly what you mean, maybe you don't have the ability to put it in words, maybe it cannot be put into words,]

Actually, that too has already been ansered. Adam was created as a second angel. Mortaility from this great Tree of Knowledge which grants but death, doomed him and the rest of his descendants to mortality.

What makes you think God hasn't had contact with a single human soul on this planet since that time? I don't think the problem is lack of contact, it's lack of belief.

I just find his complete absense slightly odd is all.
If i were god, i would be all over this place making sure people were doing what i told them to do. It seems strange that he'd be so careless as to what his creations are up too. So i'd ask him why he's been gone for so long. I mean i know he's busy, but come on.

It's very interesting that most people would ask about the past instead of the future.

I can understand where you're coming from, but on the flipside, it's God's absense from humanity which makes the free will we are said to have all the more important. If God was everywhere, and there was no denying Him, how could He know if people believed of their own free will, or out of force? That was one of the underlying reasons for free will.
