I bought the movies on DVD on Ebay. Mines were an 8 disc set and had every film on there. I got it cheap too, only $17.

I actually like the metal coola movie, good fights in that, but brolly 1 had the best fights but the stupidest ending - punches him once and they are back on the ship

I used to use Kazaa, but they monitor that now. I don't think they's worry about anime mind, as most anime companies have not got the money to run around suing people.

I don't think so, GT actually sold very poorly in Japan... because... well... series 1 was cr*p. I must admit it had potential by the Super 17 saga, but it had by then lost its fanbase. Its unlikely any other DB series will be made unless somehow it gains a revival in popularity in Japan.
That said, thats just my assumption from what I've heard about the market over there.

To be fair, DBZ did insanely well for its time. Toriyama only intended it to last up until the end of the Pilaf Saga, then when it was turned into an anime its popularity caused him to write the series up until the end of the Freizaa Saga. Then when the anime was successful on that they got him to write up until the end of the Buu Saga where he said he was done. However since the anime was still selling, Toei animation decided to go on and make DBGT with Toriyama... which is maybe why it was so terrible to begin with.
Therefore DBZ actually had several leases of life which turned it from a 13 episode series to one spanning around 600. Its sad to know its gone, but it did well.


That said, there have been rumours of the Dragon Ball Z movie by 20th Century Fox for years now.

wots people views on the games i mostly played with old ones on my emulators but i know there a few DBZ and other games flying around.

I have GT Final Bout, DBZ Battle 22, Budoki 1 all were pretty poor.

Budokai 1 went platinum down here, I never played it but the reviews said it was pretty avarage!

Gohan didnt go all out on super buu, he could have killed him but he absorbed gohan from behind, Gohan kicked buus *** before he was absorbed

Gohan certain did beat Buu into the ground...but that was before Buu absorbed Gotenks. During the fight that followed, Gohan was completely outclassed...that's why Goku arrived with the Potara to begin with.

Probably weaker...I can't honestly remember if it said so in the dub, but in the origonal manga, it states that the fusion is actually more powerful because of the rivalry that exists between the two.

Besides, Vegeta was cooler than Gohan

i jus watched a bit of the cell saga, the part when piccolo merges wiv kame and has to fight Android 17

Yeah....as I remember, that was a pretty good fight scene. Although DBZ does have much better to offer As far as animation goes, the best fight in the series is probably the last one...Goku vs Kid Buu. Although, apparantly, anime fans across the globe voted Goku vs Vegeta (at the end of the Saiyan saga) as the greatest anime fight scene of all time in 2003

an interesting trait (from the sayian race) is that he seem to have the hunger for a really good fight wiv his enemy.

My fav fight seen would have to be the Z Fighters vs Bojack's Space Pirates in Movie 9, for both animation and coolness.
