ive heard from several people that know alot more anout computers then i do that electric companies are developing internet services

it is supposed to work directly from an outlet

plug your computer in anywhere in your house and have internet access

anyone else heard of this ?

yes maybe 2 isnt several lol sorry

Broadband over powerlines (BPL), it should be capable of speeds upto 3mbps and in being tested in the US and UK, it could provide high speeds to rural areas (provided you have power)

That is interesting. I wonder how they've designed the motherboard to adapt to this technology. Very Cool! Will that make electricity cost more?

They're installing it in my city soon but first to the heavily populated downtown and business sections. I wonder how it will compare in price to cable high speed internet connection.
