Yes the pic Zepher one posted is Cliff crooks Swamp thing!
Cliff Crooks was long known as a hoxer, here is another one of cliffs pic he tried to pass off a bf.
Now People say that the pic of the swamp thing in the water is that of a model, well I think it is at least some sort of suit because this pic at the bottom of page very well resembles that of the swamp thing just all crumpled up in a ball?
What do you all think can you see a resemblance?

Here is a better shot of the face of the swamp thing, moth open, eyes deep in socket, and the nose...
Can anyone se the resemblance or is it just me?

Well, the only part that you can really make out in the first picture is a couple of distinctions with the face. Based on a comparison of the two pictures, the eye sockets do look similiar in depth. Also, the way the mouth sort of protrudes does look remarkably the same too. Basing off the looks of the first photo, I'd guess that the two 'creatures' would be around the same height. Interesting comparison!

Not to be rude:
The first picture personally to me looks like a black blob. Another words, I can't really identify what it is.
The second picture, you do realize it is a toy or either photoshopped, right?

The bottom ones a proven hoax, the top ones absurd.
See, even a corp can be skeptical sometimes.

Well I hope everyone can cleary see the second picture is a hoax. The grass is half the size of the toy or the photoshopped picture! lol.

Just to clarify, it's actually a model, not a shop.

A model of what is thought to be seen - because who ever created that picture, intended to make it real.
Walken
Mar 10 2005, 09:45 PM
Uh-huh.
I have no idea how this pic still survives. I mean, just look at the background. Look at all the stuff sorrounding bigfoot and the inconsistent scale!
Absurd...
Mysteryman
Mar 10 2005, 09:46 PM
Well, the creator of this picture did not think about the backround and how the smaller creature wouldn't blend in with the surroundings.

Uh-huh.
Big mistake.
I'm sure you and I could make a more beleiveable picture than that.

Definitley agree. Atleast we'll put some thought into it.

The black n white pic I posted is the upper half(torso) of the the model in the swamp. And yes the model was about 10 to 20 inchs big!
This man(Cliff Crooks) knew to place the Model close to the camera so it would appear 'way' bigger than it really is(mind you he couldnt do a good job at that). Than he gives a story about him being up in a tree stand, and this thing just comes up outta the water and stands there down from an embankment looking at him!

That first picture is a model of what is said or thought to be seen in that lake?

Am I the only one who, at first glance, saw a dinosaur when looking at the first picture? Sort of laying down. Not that it is a dinosaur, it just looked like one to me.

A:
Yes Well sort of!! The first pic(b&w pic) 'IS' the same model standing there in the swamp. It is just the upper torso part of it with its arm laying across the ground and the other infront of it. The face of the model is looking up to our left in the pic, same eye indentations, same nose, and same open mouth..
This here is the best I can explain it for the software I have right now.
Three lines at the top of the page represent, top line=eye indentations, middle line=nose, bottom line=open mouth.
Then to the right is its shoulder, down the back of the arm to the forearm laying across the ground where the hand is flat(palm down) to the ground. Then above that is the other hand curled down to the ground exposing the top wrist.
All in all its still a model, all this for a stupid model, a good one at that mind you. If I ran into bf in the bush and thats what he/she looked like, I would be leaving with an extra ten pounds in my pants.

Well now I see it but it seems huge! So its a model but not Bigfoot...Then whats the point of it?
justin
Mar 11 2005, 09:29 PM
Thats what im saying all this over a silly model, but its the trickery Cliff crooks used to make the model seem so huge.

So basically its a model and I totally agree with you that this thread is becoming idiotic now due to the fact that its basically solved - its a model -

Threads rarely get closed because the mysterey is solved.
Ah, Mysterey man.....let me pat your head in a condescending way.
If people lose intrest, the thread shall natrually slope away.
People haven't, so the thread survives.

Well, just because photos are proven fake doesn't mean they aren't worthy of comparison. Sometimes, honestly.. I think that the hoaxers are just as worthy of investigation.

I smell a hoax! As basically everyone has said, the top picture has NO scale to its surroundings. I can't see it that clearly, becuase it looks kinda blurry, so I'm not to sure about the comparason.

im fairly certain that the second picture has been proved a hoax, but i went ahead and compared it to the first one anyway, and i found that the first one was, indeed, a shapeless lump.

i looked around and almost all of the websites agree the sasquatch was a miniature model placed in a scene where it would look normal sized. so, a hoax.
