Hey i was just wondering..If you was to go to the past and kill somone

.....would they do whateveryone thinks and make it where they or there decendents dont exsist in the future...My personal beleif is that if you did go back and kill somone from the past that it wouldnt change the future because the person that should be erased would not be living in the future he would be living in the present of his time...so to him the past wouldnt mater...forgive me for the weird way of describingit..."it souned alot beter in my mind" it was hard for me to say i guese...but i hope you get the point....
Peace~

Explain how its logically possible to change the past without contradicting your present reality and maybe things will make sense .

Well....i was just thinking that even tho you might kill there ancestor, that ancestor would be living in the present and not the past...so his decendent would be in his own "Present" and i dont think it would affect the decendent...he might be a decendent..but maybe there is a differnt universe...i like to refer to this universe as the Could Have Ben Universe~Because say like....the decendent is in his own universe and you go back in time threw that universe ,and kill his ancestor...now i dont think it would change the universe that has already ben writen...to me its like taking a book you wrote and burning it.Instead of changing universe 1. I think it would just create a Could Have Ben Universe...where there was never a decendent to destroy....i dont know if that makes any sice at all!...but it sounded nice coming out lol...Thanks for your thoughts

I think I understand what you are saying. If one was to go back in the past and murder someone's relatives, it would alter the world because that person would not come to be. (I could be getting this very wrong)
If I do have it right, I think that this is true. Even though this person may not be of much importance history wise to the world, such as an award winning scientist or something like that, but simply a regular person, it could have a domino effect. Without this person to influence a person who may have been a scientist that person might take a different route, thus altering history. (Not that all life isn't important, but you know what I mean.)
