You make it sound like we dont have souls, and that love is just an emotion souly to keep the species going, plants mate and they dont feel love, not that I am aware of anyway

What is soul made of?

It seems like the old discussion of dualism will never end since for human beings is hards to believe the power of brain. Being the less discovered area makes it easy and vulnerable to speculations.
After what I was reading till now it really surprised me that still there are ppl thinking that we feel with the heart and love (like an abstract concept that floats in the air) affects brain and not vice-verca and that even animals feel! wink2.gif

well i dont know if anyone is going to read this but whatever.

i do agree that love is made up for example.

i am in love with A and then i break up with her i start crying bla bla bla..

after few months i have a new love. i totally love her etc. than i break up with her, i cry again bla bla.

i find a third love etc

so this is a pattern i dont think true love exists. why can i find love all the time? is love made up? love is a feeling i agree, but its a made up feeling.

if you tell me that you are married for forever and you dont agree, than you are wrong. you can have an opinion b/c you never broke up so you could see that you would probably have found someone else and fall in love again.

have a loving day

Is a pet's way of showing affection for you love?

If love is a human perversion, then I am a pervert. It seems like it's more than just chemicals, because I've had large quantities of chocolate, and I don't find it at all comparable to a loving emotion. We can just appreciate it for what it is.

Love . . .

Speaking of finding a mate, your 'true love' . . Soul Mate. As humans we search for that emotion, to connect (bond) with someone. Some tend to dwell in the search for that 'someone' and may never find what they're looking for. 'Love' can happen when you least expect it!

True love does not even come close to eating chocolate, so that is a strange comparison to make, you either personally eat some brand of amazing chocolate made in Willy wonka’s chocolate heaven that I dont know about, or you have never been in love or felt true love.

love is just strange, i totally agree that its a feeling, a strong one too. but my question is , is there a soulmate or TRUE love? as i mentioned before you fall in love and when you break up you cry for months and later on you just find another one, why?why can you create the feeling of love again and again?

Speaking of 'Love' or 'Falling in love' with someone . . I personally think that a 'soul mate' and a 'true love', are one in the same. Actually a 'soul mate' can be anyone, not just a lover. A soul mate can be a parent, sibling, a relative, a best friend . . .

As for your question: Why? Why can you create the feeling of love again and again? It's human nature . . we yearn for love, to love and/or be loved.

Soul mates and true love aren't necessarily the same thing. A soul mate can be a friend, a relative, etc. It doesn't have to be a relationship that is romantic in origin. But yea, they exist, and I know from experience.
