Has anyone else had this...and does it fix itself up?

I think i've heard of this happening on the odd occasion, was your PM box full at the time ?

This happens to me alot when i stray from the site, say, i click over to redhotpawn.com, and then i come back here by using the pull-down history in my address bar.

I'm guessing because of the cookies enabled, the site thinks i have mail, because i did at that timwhen the cookie was created, but since i don't anymore, i says 1 message for a moment, and when i click on to a different page, it goes away.

Yeah, that sounds like it could be an issue with cached pages, the browser retrieves a cached copy of the page from your hard disk, on which a PM had been sent. The javascript new message box appears, but because the PM is no longer there it says there are '-1' new messages.

Just press F5 i reckon.
