This is a recurring vision which started over two years ago.

A great circular hall, enormous pillars and arches holding up great walls of stone as the sun shines in through the roof. the floor is a great lake. In the middle of this lake rises an island, similar to the surrounding room but in ruins, slowly collapsing into the lake. On this island, somewhere within its ruins, sits a woman, made of water. A crown sits atop her head. she is dying. great wounds spill forth water onto the ground, and a river rushes down, forming the lake outside. Yet she is starving as she dies. She rips off one of her breasts of water, eating/drinking it as more water comes rushing forth. She cups the water in her hands, screaming - but i cannot hear the scream, and i am taken away, back into the conscious world...

Very interesting dream... Have you read any SciFi/Fantasy books that have some kind of "water woman" ? May be your mind is playing games with something you have read long time ago...
You can probably post your dream on some specialized forum about dream interpretations. I will be curious to hear what other people think about it.

This is pretty strange. To me it would represent isolation. (the island) If this is a vision it could possibly mean someone will get very sick.

That is an interesting dream. If you're looking for an interpretation, well, you're really the best person to ask for that. What do you think it could mean? Do things ever change in the dream, or do you dream the same thing each time? Do you have prophetic dreams, and if so, did this feel like one? What were your feelings before/during/after the dream? What are you doing in the dream - just watching, participating... are you ever the woman in the dream?
Most likely it's just symbolic of your emotional situation. Either that or you watch weird stuff on tv wink2.gif

Sounds waaaaaaay to much like me to be false.

I'd check your sources; you could just save someone's life. (I'm such a pessimist; always thinking its someone dying rofl.gif )

This is a very interesting dream. I've never had anything like it, but people made out of water sounds very interesting and well, cool. Im going to interpret this as not prophetic, but simply a dream showing what is. Were polluting the last of our quickly drying up freshwater, and nature is being beaten and whipped every day. Maybe this is like a personification of all the suffering going on -- again, some sort of mother nature figure.

Agreed. Listen to The Raven.

P.S. Sweet sig, Rav!

Hehehe, thanks for both comments. You can thank Blue Scorpion, a master in the signature thread in the Writers and Artist Hangout for it though, he made me a new one as I was tiring of my old, cosmic-raven theme. thumbsup.gif

That last post was just a tad off-topic raven, but i think you may be right. I often feel a strong connection to the natural world, and this may be a local water spirit trying to reach out to stop it...i think i need to look around at local water bodies and pollution.

Just out of curiousity...do you figure nature as the earth and natural elements, or rather the life that lives with the elements, or just the strength of life in general?
