Im assuming these were taken by one of NASAs satellites the "image of the day" photos are amazing everything from polar icecaps to "The Gates" in central park

world wind seems interesting! i'm just curious, because i cant find it in the faq, if they have photographed and zoomed in all of earth or do they just add places/cities randomly (still downloading ) OR, does it work in real-time mode? (highly unlikely but would be pretty cool lol)

I've got WorldWind and have posted up a few photos of some places I took snapshots of, like the pyramids and such.
