hello
last october my mother awaked me because she had heard someting like whispering from the corridor. it was very stormy that night so i thougt it could be maybe the wind or so. i took my new dvcamera and tried to film with the nightshoot but i couldn't see someting so i went back to the bed. on the next day when watching the movie i couldn't see someting special so i stoped and almost forget about that video. yesterday when i was erasing some old tapes i suddenly saw this thing. when i had recorded this i hadn't see someting like this.first i thought that its someting with the camera but than i see that it almost disappeard under the staircase. i showed it also to my mother but she has no explaination for that. i think its really really wierd.

Um, to be honest, that video does nothing for your credibility. There's no video at first, and the few seconds of video there are, it looks like animation. Perhaps someone used that tape to record some cartoons and just didn't tell you?

It really does look fake...sorry. Not impressed with all you have to go through to download the video, either.

Though if it were real, it would be cool!

Very nice hoax. You added a few filters to your whistling to make the ghostly sound, or it was wind from the "storm" but still with a filter. To make the "Ghost" you simply used a black and white filter, filmed someone holding a torch or the like in a large room. If you notice there is an instability in the movements and you can't see past some sort of wall -- a prime location for someone to stand.

EDIT: Watched it a few more times and you will notice sparks from the fire falling when it first appears and makes it's quickest movement, then a few more once again as it falls. A solid ball of energy would not release sparks like resemble fire 100%.

The likn didn't work for me but I had a very strong feeling it was a hoax.

I've edited the footage using Windows Movie Editor and I brightened it. I've taken two screenshots before and after of a scene when sparks were flying off of the object. In the bright picture you can clearly see the surroundings. I've also added 2 unedited stills of different scenes of it's motion. Better than downloading the video as the "wind" gets annoying.

Yeah but what were you making a video of when you made it? It shows a dark staircase......

Step One: get bored.

Step Two: get out the camera and shoot some inane footage.

Step Three: Make up some jackass story to go along with your footage.

Step Four: Post it on some paranormal forum, where you can make a good impression and fool some waterheads.

Step Five: get ripped mercilessly by people with understanding.
