If God forgives everybody then what need is there for a Hell? Cause God would just forgive them and presto straight to heaven. I guess the key word in this question is "ALL".

See, this is where I conflict my thoughts..... it could be taken as if he did give us a choice and himself doesn't want to send you to hell, but you have given him no choice because you don't care for him and you don't believe.

Another theory of mine is that he doesn't really care and he'll send anyone who doesn't follow his rules down to hell, and even if you do worship right before you die, there will be no point because he won't listen.

See, there's a selfish reasoning of God, and there's a good reasoning of God.... I just don't know.......

that's what i also wonder about sometimes. especially when people say things like, "Hitler was a bad man. He's burning in hell for what he did." when people say that, i ask them, "Doesn't God forgive everyone?"
don't get me wrong, i think what Hitler did was bad, but if God does indeed forgive everyone, he'd be in heaven right now.

i guess hell was made up for the unbaptized babies and to scare people into living good lives.

hell is not for people or humans it's for the demons who are destined togather with satan to suffer forever........however satan wants to get people to get even with God.......he hates God.that's the reason why he lures people to go with him.......trust me God's mercy is right in front of us...but we have a choice....some people chose to go astray fr God..........

Because before anyone can be forgiven they must be TRUELY sorry for what they have done, and if they have not ultililized their mortal soul for redemption of their own free will, they must suffer the consequences (hell or Sheol, depending on what they have done) until and if, their next chance comes up. I.E. reincarnation. These chances for reincarnation WON'T last forever, that's why the final judgement is such a big deal. No mortal testing ground, and the chances of redemption get handed to someone else.

God forgives people who ask for it, why don't you go find out some info before you post something and save ingnorant people the pain of maybe believing the bull crud that you come up with.

I dont think God Forgives ALL..how can he forgive child rapists/molesters? If he did I'd rather go to hell.
