Howdy yall.

spring of 2000 archaeology was a buz with the new find of Osiris.
Located in the causeway of Khafre's pyramid 100 ft below the plateau he rest in a damp grotto surrounded by clear water. Greek historian Herodotus discribed the crypt but thought it was Khafre's. I havent heard anything new on this find sence, nothing about a mummy or any treasures located in the tomb. Four pillers surround osiris but none of the inscriptions have been made public. Oh and y is the pyramid still named after khafre, it looks to me its osiris's pyramid becuase usaly monuments are all dedacated after one person,so y would an important god just have a crypt and not a grand monument? Dr, hazzas said he knew where the tomb was before the excavated it in 2000, how? is there an acient map of all the places around the gaza strip?
Anyways whos to say it is osiris? it my be Khafre's tomb , after all it is his pyramid.
how would we beable to identfy if it was either of them?
who else lies under the other causeways, or what, the hall of records, isis's tomb?
intresting enough the tomb its self. a coffin surounded by clear water, srounded by inscribed pillers. a very elabrate set up, something out of an indiana jones movie.
also possably there are other rooms on the tomb level that might connect to other tunnels.
Some rumors are that osiris lies in suspended animation him and thoth. could this be a posibilty as to y there is no new info on the site? or were they wrong?

Id like to hear what u think as to possibiltys about the tomb and others, but also if any one has more info on the find i would be so thankful i can only find older articals id like to read something more current. Please sight as many details in ur replys as possible i like to reserch.

So perhaps the pyramids are older than originally believed. Remember, though the egyptians did consider their pharoh's gods.

Edit: removed quote as its directly above.

Where did you get the info about the suspended animation and the inclusion of Thoth's remains in the Tomb?

the shaft, the subwaythe emerald tablets of thoth

i belelve their might be a few obscure refrences to the suspended animation and the remains in the tomb but you need to strech your mind a bit. i can see how that may play out but it sounds a bit iffy lots to read but its in the emerald tablets of thoth i think.

the shaft i think is the tomb but this one was said to be nearly full with pure water and that there appered to be people there prior to the excavtion, and sumething bout a pump of some sorts sorry dont rember all the details no.gif

no this was the tomb found by Dr hazzas care taker of the monuments at giza.
Adramaleck, osiris was a god, egyptians beleve that the gods lived as humans for a while before becomming so reclusive.
as for the supended annimation story tablets of thoth, plus it seems to be a popular subject here on the www.
i think it should be osiris pyramid he burried in the causeway for crying out loud.

could be some kind of ancient knowledge or maybe history's records located around there.
im not a firm beliver in suspended animation allthough some wildlife species can do
something similar.

id lean to it being knowledge though, imagine one way to live forever is the legacy
(or ideas) the greater your legacy the longer your shelflife.
perhapes the whole suspended animation part is the ideas and knowledge just kinda put on hold or hidden away, and then the return/rebirth would be the rediscovery of said knowledge putting it to use or adding to it?

gabriel would you mind posting some links im sure where all searching but just not digging for the right stuff. then maybe we could add more veiws on this topic, well maybe for my benifit but thats ok laugh.gif

here here!

And yes, I know Osiris was a god - the god of the dead. I was merely trying to state that they seemed to view that the gods were among them, so a tomb for osiris seems logical enough. It would clear up a lot if a mummy was found.

PS> please post links yes.gif

Did Osiris ever have a proper burial? The way i knew the story was that Osiris was cut into pieces in a battle and his queen Isis searched for his nether parts to try and make child with him, although he was dead.Unable to find the penis of Osiris, she used will to inseminate herself with his child. It is said that his penis lives on in the Nile, making it fertile. The fact that they both were higher beings and that Isis was impregnated by will shows great similarities to Christianity and the Virgin Mary.Which draws the question, was Osiris ever alive in the first place?Christianity is a spin off from ancient egyption beliefs. For a period of time in the reign of Augustas Caesar when the religion was mainly Roman Catholic,Isis was still looked upon as a god and was worshipped.

I could be completely wrong here, but what iv wrote is based on what iv read.
