I was wondering, is there any way I could attach MP3s into my posts directly from my PC, or does it have to be on host website first so I can post a link?
It would be so much easier if I could just take them directly from my hard drive, as I've started to think about posting MP3s of myself playing guitar on the "Guitarists Unite" thread.

It really needs to be on a host web site first, mainly because MP3s are large, and the maximum allowed attachment on here is 250k.

Also, at the moment .MP3 files are not in the supported upload file types list, as it may encourage the posting of illegal MP3s aswell.

So, in layman's terms, that's a "no" then.

OK, no problem SaRu, I've put my MP3 on a host site anyway, just in case. I guess this topic can be closed then as it seems there's nothing more to add
