OK i tried this before but my internet screwed up so I will try it again. This is a picture of our cat mickey. He always seems to be following something around the house, but none of us every see anything. He is really interested in my bed room, he acts just like something is flying around the room and he meows at it and follows it all over the room. I took this picture of him the other day and there seems to be something by his tail. I dont know what it is but nothing was there to make the streak and nothing was on the camera because the other pictures are fine. let me know what you think.

It does not look so much like a streak as it does a light refraction (or reflection?) or linear diffusion of light from a stationary object. A streak is caused by a moving object, with the streak following it. This picture shows the streak in two directions.

The picture was taken with a flash, so maybe the light hit a bared spot on the head of a nail or screw in the door jamb, or the bare metal shank of one that had been broken off.

I've already looked for any exposed nails screws etc. but there still painted over. Im not sure what it is/was but it is possable to be a reflection of light. although i dont know what it reflected off of.

Although now that i look at it it looks like the peice of gold molding on the floor. I'm almost sure thats what it is now that i think about it. oh well
