In my last house, there were a fair few ghosts. But the main problem was the poltergeist! I think it was either trying to be a pain or just trying o make obvious contact to me by pouring water on the floor.

i thought a poltergeist was a person being controlled by a 'spirit' or whatever... but hell i have no idea im new to this.

As far as poltergiests, I don't believe the exist. I have no proof before me.

The only poltergeist experience I have is from that movie and that was more than enough, thank you very much.

A poltergiest is literally a noisy ghost. Poltergiest cases usually involve moving furniture, crockery and other items that go missing and turn up elsewhere. People who claim to have poltergiest activity also claim such things as unexplained knockings, rattles and other noises.

you know that's a good question. i've read that ghosts aren't supposed to be able to hurt you, but poltergeists can levitate ppl and objects and fling them with intensity. yeah, i think it could hurt ppl. there's cases where poltergeists have hurt ppl (if you believe those type of things).

Poltergeist: From the German Polter meaning Noisy, Geist meaning spirit. Basicly poltergeist is a term for a particularly violent form of spiritual attack. They can throw objects, levitate people, and manipulate the four elements(there are documented cases where they have started fires spontaneously, caused rocks to fall from the sky, and caused rain inside of a house). In terms of being able to hur you absolutely. Any kind of spirit even a ghost is capable of harming people even in more extreme cases of killing some one.
