with the increasing popularity of linux people are deviating from windows
operating systems. the cost of linux being an open source rather than a costly windows OS people are chosing linux.

even the security provided by linux is very high when compared to windows
operating system. But the platform for games is ultimately windows for it has
the capability of running a wide variety of games. the same with linux might be
possible in the coming days. if this happens and linux gets the capability of running
.exe extension files just like windows then probably a sharp shift of people from
windows to linux will be seen. this might be in a short span of time.

Ask any Linux users, they will say the same.
They started on Linux and it's hard changing os not unless you're a computer expert. That's what i think.

I voted for LINUX! You don't have to be a computer expert to use LINUX, no no.... This was the case 10 years ago, not now... To install something on Linux (Fedora for instance) is as easy as installing for Windows. Not to mention that you can get Linux for free and all software is free as well. You have Open Office, visualization software, mathematical software. And you don't get computer viruses

It may be good if you add another option in the poll: How about Mac OS Mac OS is just great!!!

If I have to choose the order of preference it will be: Mac OS, Linux, Windows

linux? who in thier right mind would want linux?

the only reason linux is more secure is because no one uses it, so hackers and virus writers dont write anything for it

and you dont need to bea computer expert to know how to use windows

i like windows better, cause im more used to it, but recently i have been using mandrake linux. it's so easy to use!
