Hi all, first post here.

Thought I'd share my only *phenomenon* expierience and see if theres any interesting feed back to it. About 3 years ago I was watching T.V on my couch, it was around 11 pm, everyone else in the house was asleep. The couch is positioned so you can see out the big window across the room and gives a good view of a large portion of the sky. Seemingly out of nowhere this big red object (must have been huge up close) started to glide across the sky, from right to left. I've seen numerous airplanes and such at night, but this object was purely red, and did not blink on and on like normal lights. Without thinking I jumped up and ran outside to catch a better glimpse (which takes about 4-5 seconds) but when I went outside and looked it was nowhere to be seen. I should have still be able to see the object for a good 2 minutes as it was just gliding across the sky. Strange, but never thought anything of it since.

sounds like an UFO sighting,I have never seen anything out of the ordinary,never,but I do believe others have.

Sounds like ball lightning. What was the weather like at the time?

Its probably not ball lightning.

It sounds like it could be ball lightning, but can it be red? I dont really know much about it.

mabye it was a reflection in the window of something?

I have actually seen ball lightening pretty closely during an electrical storm and it was blue. It didn't move in a perfectly straight line but sort of zig-zagged. Perhaps it is possible, but I have never in my lifetime seen any lightening of any kind that was red. I've only ever seen it blue, white or sort of a violet colour. We get a lot of electrical storms here in the summer.

As far as I can remember it was a clear night with hardly any wind. It is possible that it could have been some sort of reflection but I doubt it. The window is facing the backyard so that would nullify any car lights or street lamps of any kind.

'Ball Lightning' can appear almost any colour and in a huge variety of sizes. There certainly have been instances where it has been red, and where it has moved in a straight line parallel to the ground. And it doesn't only appear during thunderstorms. Truth is, we don't know what ball lightning is, how it forms and the more we study it, the more bizarre it seems to be.... That said, if it was a clear, calm night it does seem a less likely explanation.

I agree, Ball lightning could be the answer. Were you the only witness to this event? Maybe you should check local records or newspaper archives, you never know until you delve deep into these things?
Maybe it could have been debris from an old satellite burning up in the atmosphere? There are so many maybe's!

Last night I saw 1 oe 2 or even 3 ufo's! really, they were hovering and going mad fast! they didn't blink like every 2 seconds like planes do, they would blink like 5 times and than stop. and then like 4 times then they would stop. t was weird, they were next to my house. they always disappeared behind trees. they were orange lights soming off of them. and sometimes, they looked like they were blowing up, it was freaky. it all happened after I took a shower, my litlle brother said he saw bigfoot in the woods, my and my other brother looked out, my other little brother said a UFO! I told my mom and she don't believe in ufo's and she said it was real! one more thing and maybe the best proof it was a real UFO, in the sky, it looked like a machine gun was shooting ufos, I didn't see a machine gun, I mean, they shot out very fast, I'll make a chart thing

it shot left then teh lights went off and then shot upwards and kept doing that.

ok, I saw something liek this but orange and the light blinked when it was far away, there was 2 UFOS going different ways, and they would come back around the same spot to meet. it was weird. I was kinda scared and then, I just felt mad scared when I thought it was flying to my house, one past right above my house.

Let me guess....you never took a photo of that incident...

This is exactly what happened to me. I saw 5 or 6 UFO's and two of them had smaller discs zipping around and returning to the bigger UFO. One came my way and I started running and it came overhead. When it was overhead it appeared to be in shadow and cresent shaped. Before that the UFO looked like white lights that were round and had some sort of aura to them, a pinkish cast below them. When the one UFO traveled over to me it took on the look of a white star with a pale yellow cast to it.

sprinkles....I saw an orange red colored disc in the sky 2 nights ago. My husband and I, both did. We took a picture. It hovered for 10 minutes and blinked out. Another one or the same one appeared 10 minutes later and hovered again...in another field near my home and blinked out. It was 11:00 pm too. We can't figure what this thing was. I got it on film as a small red orange dot in the night sky.

Read "Scientific explanations for UFO's" thread in this section too, I talk more about my sightings and so do others. I'm happy to have found people who are having these experiences.

Explain to me how you saw it "shoot upwards" after it turned off its lights?

And, entertaining the idea that you might be telling the truth: Do you live near a military base?

yes, I got some pictures but it too dark and some videos. I didn't see the videos yet, yes, it was night. the shooting thing, it was like there were a whole bunch of UFOs but I don't think so, I think there was on;y one. I will make a picture os what I mean. it kinda teleported

Ok, other than the fact that this entire description made my head hurt.. I really don't understand where this fits in. You're describing a jumbled story of an ufo sighting and all of the sudden bigfoot pops in? I would like you to further detail this story if possible. I'm assuming that it was also clear outside on this night. Were there any reported meteor showers? Not a likely scenario, but still a possibility.

A few other standard questions. Did you hear any sound? Also, how far would you say these objects were from you? "Next to your house" doesn't really give a solid picture. Could you also describe about how big these objects were? And last, you stated at first that you may have seen up to three objects. Then you were up to "many" objects and finally just one? Yes, my mind hurts from this.

Again, do you live near a military base?

The UFO my husband and I saw similar to this, was at the airport back in the wave of 73'. The red orange disc shot to the left and then to the right and then upwards and outwards into space. Out of sight, at a phenomenal speed.

So, your story sounds very familiar to me.

From your earlier posts I'm assuming you have had experiences throughout your life, Are you an abductee?

dunderhead...No, I am not an abductee. I don't even know if the greys are real. I am a skeptic and have to take this one step at a time. I have had only one sighting 30 yrs. ago and now I am seeing more unidentified objects. Mostly just lately.

I have, however, had quite a few paranormal events in my life starting when I was 16. Premonitions and precognitive dreams, and PK activity. What is your take on the UFO phenomenon?

Wow thanks for the feedback guys. It appears that the general consensus is this may have been some sort of "ball lightning" occurence. I've never previously heard of ball lightning so I'll have to do some research. And yea looking up the weather records or documents would have been a great idea but unfortunatly I never thought anything of it at the time, and it's far too long ago now to remember the date. Oh well. Theres always next time.

Does anyone have any more info. -out there- about a sighting or the UFO phenomenon? You know...who they are, what they want? Why don't they come down and communicate? In my experience they haven't come down and communicated, so that's all I know.

some 'UFOs@ are man made objects sumtimes, and remember UFO means 'Unidentified Flying Object' it does not mean or tell u that aliens are necessaraly involved. common misconception.

I think these are unidentified objects that are being controlled from afar. I have never really thought about what was piloting the craft. I know these aren't 'our' craft.

That's awesome, I would have loved to see it hehe. I hear they come in all kinds of colors. They don't travel with anti-gravity propulsion you know, I mean that's what we're trying to come up with sure, heck maybe some alien forms actually do but the actual power they use comes from their own genetically engineered bodies, that can basically turn itself into pure energy in order to fly, distort space time and what have you, so you may have just seen the scource of energy in it's most effective. It must have been beautiful.

Roswell Man...I don't know. I guess it has to be. Maybe there is a species that live inside the earth, someone has put forth, or a species that live in isolated desolate areas of the earth that no man has tried to conquer... or even go to. Some say the UFO's are coming out of the poles from 'inside' the earth...others say they come from outer space and take that route by the poles or have a 'patterned flight' over the earth at specific times of the year. Hey, I don't know, your guess is as good as mine.

Haullie...what do you mean genetically engineered bodies?...are they robots? Are they robots of another race? Can they change form and dash about the universe?

They're like, yeah cloned! Genetically so they can still obtain the energy needed. I believe they even wear some kind of thin skin lyered suit over their bodies barely recognizable to help guard them from the cosmic radiation, otherwise they too would be toast. It's funny because Aliens are almost like we are I mean they have the same genetic structure just a little more advanced, a little different heck they can't even eat, and require no wash facilities, no physical emotions and really that's it. These beings are designed specifically for space travel or else they wouldn't be able to fly around the Galaxy with absolutely nothing but a flying saucer.

There is a theory that their breeding with humans has been going on for some time. Whether or not their advanced enough to turn themselves into something like us, more human like. Only if they harbored enough Alpha Energy could they become so advanced and we have yet to see any kind of proof of that. But it isn't un-likely that it could happen, we mustn't forget we know about squat compared to what is truly still waiting for us out there, we only know big, we've never seen the small and the detail.

There's so much about this that I mean literally I could talk for hours.

LOL I wish I knew the answer to that. I guess everyone's guess is that the other aliens did it. The ones who live in the "Mother Ship" but that again is speculation. My best personal guess would be that this is a process that took place maybe hundreds of thousands of years accoring to the Aliens. They could very well have been a lot like us in the beginning but the more advanced they became the more they didn't rely on things like reproduction through having sex, or food, or anything like that because now they were practically all genetically engineered, the genetically cloned aliens are cloning aliens. It's sad to say it like that. I almost want some connection, something real that says they came here in peace, but they only know harvesting of our planet and the species on this planet. They've come to a point where yes they are a certain kind of flesh too but they'd like to expirience those feelings we have that they can't understand. We feel things they don't understand just like their telepathy is something we can't understand. It's nothing anyone has ever expirienced before, not like some phsychic vision, it's more controled than that and better. And I'm sure we've all heard of 'Star Children'. Aliens breeding with humans on Earth. I'm not sure what to believe as far as that but if you were the grays and you behaved the way hat they have would you dis-clude the possibility? Afterall if they have the power to reproduce human looking babies with special gifts than that's an extremely advanced race, so extreme it's hard to actually fathom.

Yes, I think they read our thoughts, but what are they? The UFO's, that I have seen, I don't think have anyone in them. They are operated from afar. Now what is operating them, I haven't even thought about that. Yes, 'that is the question'!
