All right u guys, Ive noticed a problem. A big problem, we dont fit in anymore.
we pigs, have no sence, think with our weiners too much , dont care enough, no style, and only think about our selfs. at leats thats the comments i allways hear at the ladies table. We used to be Handsome, Strong, compasinate, smart, funny,Daper even,( thats old talk for style).
Look at people like Clark Gable, Cary Grant, Bogart, Dean Martin(the king of cool)
ect ect. What happend to our sprit our knolage and know-how?Our women go un-wooed and find the traits they used to find in us in gay men. Hey dont get we wrong i have gay friends, and there great. its even better when ur girlfriend has a guy like that cuz he might stick up for ya, Hey thanks for the help but scooch over pal.
So as a guy i feel its my duty to remind the others to do there job and stop giving the rest a bad name.
Rule #1 EFFORT EFFORT Effoert people geez...........
its a no brainer on how to keep ur women happy( see if u agree women)
Just pay attention U fool!
So u wanna do someting special for ur girl and u picked to make her a Great dinner. First make the place pritty, put out some decorations her fav flowers or just flowers for that matter. Cook her favorit meal, forget the flowers baby! she'll problay be suprized u knew her fav meal let alone cooked it ur self!
Cant cook, No Problem order her favorit meal from her favorit restarunt! theyll make it good for ya! Its the fact u thought of her.

Rule#2 Bite ur toung!
ur not hanging with the guys so save the cussing for the lockerroom.
no chick is attracted to a guy who think women are now called Bitc***.
so sorry to bust ur bubble, in fact drop the nicknames, ur chick will feel and think that u respect her when u use her name. Also fi ur in public and u get in to an argument wiht another man with ur chick there, just walk away, She thinks Hes the idiot, better to leave it that way.were tying to get rid of the sterotypes rembemer?

Rule#3 Listen
I have avoided many fights just by sitn still. many afights our male brain would have feel right into. Women gather info all day they go to do something with it all, plus u might get an idea on somethin special u can do to show u were thinking of her. (Rule#1)

Effort guys effort, im tired of men being portrayed as dumb butt scratchers.
Be polite, and put forth some effort!
Plus the look on her face when u blow her away will be pricless.

Oh yea and over all Have confidence in ur self, the chicks dig it and having a little faith in ur self never hurt anyone.

The Challenge: put my words to the test, pick a night for ur ladyand show her u are the guy she though u are, and also help ur fellow man reclaim our right full title
and carve us a new place in todays world.

I was just about to say that where you come from will determine how you treat a woman and not every part of the world men act like that. Gabriel is sort of right on with those characteristics of men in the U.S. mostly in the big city.

Women get men gifts. huh.gif

I'm not much of a gift person, but I tend to give as much as I receive. And though I've gone out with my fair share of jerks, even they would do something special for me once in a while, and I would for them too.

What you just said is basically just a bad stereotype.

I work in the office with mostly women around me (I love being a Clerk). I have, on several occaisons caught them "man-bashing". I've had to remind them that such generalization is bigotted, prejudiced, and plain wrong... after all, just as women have the right to a sexism free environment, I have that right as well.

I think the main problem is that society as a whole has forgotten what it means to be well mannered, polite, and generally nice to each other. The mass media keeps portraying the dark, mysterious "bad boy" as being the sexy, attractive thing- ditto for the portrayal of sleazy, easy floozies. The use of "slang"- which is often derogatory and demeaning is also portrayed as being the "cool" thing by the media. Because of the change in emphasis from being nice to being "dark" as being the right and proper state of things, society has changed to reflect the media image.

I hear a lot of women (not all- just a lot), that mope about not being able to find a decent man... yet when given the choice between the decent man, and a guy that is much like you see in the movies, they go for the second fellow... and wind up being hurt before moping about not being able to find a decent man again. Is it any wonder why man men act this way- thinking that it's what the women really want? Mixed signals only adds to the problem of how a man should act (having said that, I must confess that guys often give mixed signals themselves).

I myself, am a gentleman- I open doors, compliment women on how they look (and I don't go, "Hey, beeyatch, you're looking so fly, I'd like to get jiggy with that booty!"), and basically treat them with the respect and dignity that a member of an intellegant species deserves... it's just a shame that often that treatment is taken for granted, mocked, ignored, or even used as a reason to accusing me of being sexist.

We men have a place as gentleman... but society as a whole needs to let us occupy it.

EDIT- ADDED: I know this is the longest post I've done in some time... but I have a real hatred of stereotypes, and felt I had to say something about it. Burnside can confirm that I have in the past posted some extremely intellegant comments about things. LOL w00t.gif

Of course, I don't have a girlfriend now, but that's because Mrs. Falco would kill me if I did.
I guess the bottom line is; the world is such a big place that no matter what type of guy you are; you'll find a girl for you..

I was thinking about this topic and I knew it sounded familiar! The Outer Limits had a show on a lesbian world were all the men were killed in a bio-attacked, then a soldier was found and he tried to bring back war and fighting and they killed him. The lesbian world survived by science with old sperm samples and cloning i think.

Hmmm, the topic of Women definately belongs in the cryptozoology section I believe, such a strange and peculiar specimen geek.gif laugh.gif

Women and Men relations are difficult sometimes, if you try to be kind, nice, and respectful you wind up becoming the best friend, and the guy who treats them like dirt is more likely to be the hot boyfriend. rolleyes.gif Being nice doesn't cut it most times with girls, especially when I'm looking for a girl to have an actual romantic relationship with.

By far the sexiest thing anyone can have is confidence. It's definately sexier then any body part. Confidence in yourself and your abilities I think is very sexy in a woman, and has helped me attract woman as well. yes.gif

Also, patience is very important. If you go out looking for love, you'll usually find lust, betrayal, and hurt instead. Love takes time, and sometimes its better to live your life and let love find you. original.gif

3.can get out of paying for dinner easly
4.they get chairs pulled out for them
5 they get doors open for them
6.can hit a man but if a man hits a woman people call the police

But, alas, the same thing can be true in reverse. That is, if you're a woman and you try to be nice, kind and respectful to a guy, you're apt to become the "good pal" while he winds up with the slut who's getting him to buy her things and sleeping around on him. Not that I'm speaking from experience or anything. Sigh.

This conversation reminds me of a teenager I worked with a couple of years ago. He was extremely popular with the ladies -- what the other guys called a "player" -- and the guys always wanted to know his secret. He claimed he learned all he needed to know from the restaurant's customer complaint policy. It was called the "L.A.S.T. Model" and it stood for Listen, Apologize, Satisfy, Thank. grin2.gif

i do all of this as well, and i never get the "just friends" or "like a brother" response, i think the key is to have a balance. from my expirence a woman wants someone who repsects her but who can also protect her, and if all you ever are doing is opening doors and pulling out chairs, and never show the agressive side of you, she will not think there is an aggressive side. women are not going to just assume you can protect them, they are going to gather this info by the things you do outside of the you and her relationship, things such as sports, clubs you belong too, hobbies, life style, what you do when you get mad, and how you react, all of the things that you think shouldnt matter as a deciding factor for dating you, do matter very much so to the woman..this is my expierience anyway
