" "Some scientists state...."" How come these accounts never give a verifiable name that can be traced back to any institution?

The woman in the article even admits that "I thought every item was a chariot part."

Just goes to show that if you WANT to believe something, the minds eye will 'fill in the blanks' for you.

Yes, thats true, but did you read "I am 99.9 percent sure I picked up a chariot wheel," Peter Elmer tells WorldNetDaily after two diving trips to the Gulf of Aqaba branch of the sea. Thats pretty good odds to me. Although, it could have just been a bike wheel. I think this story does have some credibility.

As far as the woman saying "I thought every item was a chariot part" Well, the story does tell us that there was quite a few chariots in this valley or whatever. So, she could have been right.

Why these people did not bring anything to the surface, is beyond me. That this stories only lack of proof. (In terms of any chariots being down there.) But it could still very well be true.

The issue is surfacing some 3,500 years after the event is said to have taken place.....
3,500 years in a warm and somewhat shallow area of the red sea i don't see how much can be left if it it did occur(The parting).
QUOTE(Pharaoh's chariots

But despite all of Elmer's excitement, others who have been to the same location are not so sure what is being viewed underwater are the remnants of the great chase and urge extreme caution regarding the unsubstantiated claims.
VERY good idea.

All kinds of people are finding coral and calling it chariot parts," says Richard Rives, president of Wyatt Archaeological Research in Tennessee. "It's most likely coral covered with coral. ... Opportunists are combining false things with the true things that are found. These people are making it up as they go to be TV stars."
BINGO!

All that needs to be said is that it is part of the Ron Wyatt group. They have been disproven over and over and over again, yet somehow the gullible still pick up on the "proof" that their imaginary friend exists and is the Lord of all Creation. Real Christians don't need this sort of proof and us skeptics know (through study) that it is total BS....Why is it always dredged up again? Zandore had it right, after 3500 years, the coral would have overgrown anything to the point that the shape of a wheel wouldn't show. Typical Fundie grasping at straws! - CD thumbsup.gif

My apologies, Ron Wyatt and the stupidity associated with him always sets me off - CD thumbsup.gif

It could be all a load of b/s. But I thought it was still interesting.

Ron Wyatt had a certain feel for showmanship, but then too so did Houdini. Like Houdini, Wyatt's finds were all tricks and easily discredited....Still he was entertaining! - CD thumbsup.gif
