Thanks bud. I'm gonna edit that post a little just to remove a few of those dancing greenies. I don't remember hinting at a thread either, i had one for every 1000 up to 10,000 and after that we decided on one congrats thread for every 10,000 posts, but that's okay, 15,000 is pretty cool.

I'm a tech support agent, telling stupid people how to turn on their TV's and computers.
I don't get very many calls, so for the most part, i sit on the computer and post.
The thing is, most sites are actually blocked by my company. I'm most fortunate to have found UM, because it is not blocked.

go to "internet options" then click on the "connections" tab, at the bottom of that screen there is a "LAN settings" button. Click on it. Under the "proxy server" part there is a little box. If it is checked, you can uncheck it. That will take down all the blocks on the web.
Also, check to see if your company is running VNC on your computer, if they are you should close that while doing this. VNC allows them to watch your computer from a remort location. I do this all the time at school to play games and come to U.M.

hah, if it was that easy i would have done it ages ago.
The button is not checked. It's a master block from a main master computer, we can fiddle with the small amount of options available to us on them and it wont do squat to the locks on the comps.
