You all know what a Tsunami is and some of you know what a Mega Tsunami is, but do any of you know what a Super Mega Tsunami is?

Here is a rounded out hieght of each type of Tsunami and the normal cause:

Tsunami- 10-20 meters - Earth Quake

Mega Tsunami- 100-600 meters - Massive Rock Slide

Super Mega Tsunami- 1km to 6km - Asteroid/Metioright

It was on Daily Planet last night and i found it extreamly interesting

Dayum. Even the smallest super mega tsunami would knock a reular 747 out of the air.

Oh wait, sorry, it would have to be a little bit bigger.

Planes travel at 32,000 feet... wait a minute

Why the heck is it called the mile high club if they travel at 32,000 feet...

wouldn't that be the 6 mile high club....

Ahh those jerks. angry.gif mad.gif

In any event, that would be an enormus wave.

6km high... dang that would be bound to do some massive damage... like shift the earths rotation.

If there came a tsunami 6km high. It would be big enough to travel around the world several times. Washing away all life.

A comet that big/fast that it could produce such a wave, would kill us all before the tsunama would.

Remember that the tsunami in Asia was "only" 37-12m high at the absolut worst places.

The Tsunami would kill most people who die of the Asteroid, It strikes the Water not the land and it dosnt create a large explosion.
