I watched both last week and this week and I think it's a pretty well done show. It's a nice take on a subject that is not a lot of times the topic of tv shows. I've enjoyed it so far. Last night's episode was a nice follow up to the first. Really got into how the show is going to play out.

I missed the second show, but I want to see it.
Does anyone know when they are showing it again? I know on the first episode they aired it a few times.

Revelations is on every Wednseday night at 9:00 (i live in Ohio idk time zones). There is going to be a total of 6 episodes. Then if it gets good ratings there will be more. I dont think it will though, this show only relealy applies to catholics and isnt very entertaining to watch and its on as the same time as American Idol. They showed the 1st episode like 3 times in hopes of getting more people interested.

I missed the first half of last night's episode, so I looked up when it was airing again. Looks like Sat. at midnight it will air again. I'll probably set the tivo for that one. Of course if I'm up on Friday night that late, maybe I'll just catch it then.

This is the best show on TV right now. I was disappointed when I heard it was only going to be a 6 episode mini series though.

I know. I like it a lot. Good news is that there are still 3 episodes left, that's including tonight. Should be a good one tonight.
I've read a couple things saying the show might come back for a second season. Will be interesting to see how they end it this season if that is the case.

Good question. well, if they end the series on Wed and are not doing a second season, I guess the "rapture" will happen during the last ep. Should be exciting to see how they make this happen. They still gotta get the boy back, too, before he gets brainwashed.

I am hoping that people don't believe in what they are showing on this program. It is not Biblical by any means. It is after all just entertainment. I enjoy watching it & hope to see the last episode. I have watched all of them & am waiting to see the ending.....Thank goodness for Tivo!

My 2 cents.
I'm a fan of Miracles(very good show, now out on DVD). Revelations seemed the closest thing on TV to Miracles, so I watched it. I think it was ok. The acting was very good and all the actors were perfect for their parts. The locations and directing were really good to. It felt as if I was watching a movie. I think the story was ok. They seemed to have too much going on and the show did move too slow, but I did watch all six episodes. If it wasn't cancelled, I believe that season two would have been way better, because they could have moved at a slower pace with the plot lines(Personally, I think that they got the information about the birth of the antichrist to easily. It would have been better if they spent a season of them searching for the info and getting to dead ends/fight the satanists). This way they wouldn't have to fill in so much information in just six episodes. It also would have helped if it had more action to it, and more signs or miracles being exposed over the world that would lead to confirmation of the end of the world. Too bad it was cancelled an too bad it had to fill in all that information into just six hours. Oh well, it seems that America doesn't really like shows that deal with the unknown...

Do you know why it got cancelled?
RelicHunter
May 29 2005, 02:35 AM
I think it got cancelled because it's ratings kept on dropping. I know it's first episode got 10.7 million viewers and then with each passing week they kept slipping.
