Daily Planet is sending a message into space, unfortinatly i didnt hear about it untill it was over but they are going to narrow it down to 2 messages and we the viewers of Daily Planet get to desided the Final one that will be sent into space.

If you want to find aliens you could get a friend to join the culinary union as a cheff and try to get a job around area 51. I once knew a fellow who worked at the base as a cheff, and he had quiet a few stories to tell about UFOs and other paranormal devices/entities.
