Hi all i was wondering if of y'all have ever heard of a condition called tetragametic chimera i know some of the basic stuff like what causes it(the fusion of four gametes in the early stages of pregnacy) and that it is really rare but if anybody has more information id really appriciate it

I remember the CSI: Las Vegas episode involing this. Where the guy had different DNA in his sperm then he had in his blood. Yes, its really rare.

Yeah I've heard about it too. I also heard that there were only like 4 actually recorded Chimera in the world... thats really rare...

another rarity is when ppl's organs are on opposite sides of the body.. so the heart is on the right, and appendix is on the left and so forth.. its called situes inversus.
