You know what really gets to me... People... All of us... We are really, really silly.. I say silly cause I don't hate people, I am simply unable to understand them... You would think there would be a point where people would just wake up, and with he way we are you would think we would have crossed that point already... Sadly no.
So the following is to the entire human race, not the UM community... Well everyone on UM is part of the human race as well so...

People that...
Can't deal with what others think,
who drink and drive multiple times,
who steal from one another,
religious fanatics who kills in the name of God,
anyone who thinks just because they are older that means they are smarter and wiser then me,
anyone that whines,
anyone spoiled,
and anyone thats racist needs to just lighten the hell up...

Oh, I'm not done yet...

You know what really gets on my nerves...
Mothers who use drugs while they have two small kids,
the fact that the government knows we will run out of oil sometime and they still will not get serious about an alternate power supply,
war,
kidnappings,
all the damn coverage of the michael jackson trial,
people who think they know it all,
anyone who works so much they can't experience life,
the fact that when the government was first testing the atomic bomb some of them actually though that it may ignite the entire atmosphere and they still did it ...

I mean seriously! The people that do these things need to lighten the hell up...

But you know what really gets me ticked off...
The fact that people are so selfish,
the fact that even in our day and age with what we have there are still people starving in the world,
the fact that drug corporations don't care at all about healing people,
the fact that people feel the need to keep secrets from one another,
the fact that a person can be made into a number,
the fact that there are kids going into their schools with guns and killing other kids,
the fact that people are so stupid that we can realize that we are all on this little ball spinning through space and we need to start getting along now because we are in it together...
HEY LIGHTEN UP!!

I had almost lost all faith in humanity, but then I started to think about the good things... People are just really strange... We have the ability to do some seriously stupid stuff, but there is also the ability to do so much good.. Sometimes people just need to be reminded of that... If we would all just show a little more love to one another..

I know some people may have some problems with this post, well I'm sorry but you just need to lighen up...

That drives me nuts!!! If they were so damn wise and knowledgable they'd know that intelligence isnt a case of age...simply the advancement of someones mind. I got over 140 in an IQ test...that beats a lot of my friends who are in their 30-60's.

However, I have to dissagree with and anyone thats racist needs to just lighten the hell up...

Now, before you start ranting about me being on your list let me explain

People who are racist need to open their eyes...not lighten up. The fact is....it's the people who go out of their way NOT to be racist that are the biggest problem.
It is people like this that keep all the negativity floating around.

For example:

A middle aged white woman starts ranting and raving about how you can't call a 'blackboard' a blackboard because you're using the term 'black' and that's racist

I mean....of course....that's so obviously racist.

It is THESE people that are the ones who should lighten up

Although I agree with most of those statements, I think its wrong for people to be called silly because of them. What you think is wrong and what other people think is wrong are completely different things; I dont think its your place to judge. I realize being called 'silly' isnt a terrible thing, but we all have different opinions and I dont think its right that all of humanity is silly because some people dont follow what you think is right.
