Dad’s Secret Photos

May 29— Crystal's parents were away on vacation when she made a disturbing discovery on her father's computer: nude pictures — and she was the subject.

Crystal, now 24, says her father, Ron, retrieved the pictures via a computer Web camera in her bedroom, which had previously been in his office. The photos stretched back five years, to when she was 19.

She made the discovery while her parents were on vacation. Crystal told her mother when they returned from their trip.

shamefull and disgusting

No charges!He should of got some sort of sentence.How awful for the daughter

there are some pretty crazy and stupid laws are there. and there arent many that should be.

That poor woman, she is scarred for the rest of her life now.

There are a couple good reasons why there is no charge being laid, first and foremost that the acts did not break any law. Having said that however, the acts (if the played out in the manner in which Crystal alleges) are in poor taste and that could certianly be a cause for review of the current laws. Of course, cush a thing would have an appropriate grandfather clause meaning that everything that happened here was all quite legal.

Also, consider the circumstances in which the photos were found - Crystal finds them on Dad's computer while he is out of town. For those familiar with the concept of reasonable doubt, I am sure you can see already how fast a Not Guilty verdict would be returned. For those who are not, consider these possibilities:

Crystal is upset at her father and so she begins to think of a way to even the score for whatever wrong he did her in the past. She decides that "unlawful" posession of "pornographic" images is the way to go, with a little extra emphasis coming from a violation of an incest taboo. She mocks up a few situations for the webcam to take a photo here and there over the years and finally rolls them out 5 years later in a situation where it might be believable that she could find them.

Consider also that it was not Dad that was taking the photos, perhaps it was Mom. The story can read the same way if all instances of Mom and Dad are reversed.

whoever did it, it is still disgusting

If you can't trust your family, who [I]can[I] you trust- that is really sad....

This makes me sick and sad if recounted truthfully.
