tell me you're own personal experiences and tell me how it works.Oh yeah, does the paper homemade ones work?
Mr. Fahrenheit
Dude, I wouldn't get into it. no.gif.
They don't really do anything but cause trouble, as many people here would tell you.
Arnack
2 things, if no one knows how to here, Google it, and what do you mean by trouble? Like, it won't work or trouble on your soul, bad things happening to you?
Mr. Fahrenheit
Pretty much. People get possessed and kill themselves, the board says someone is going to die and they do.
Nothing good comes out of it. Skip it.
Arnack
What if I don't ask that question?

It's bad because the question "When will I die?" Always comes up. Then someone in the group will make it write "you will die in 30 days" or something like that.

There has been many cases where the person who was destined to die will commit suicide out of sher fright.

I had a friend who committed suicide for that reason. And one of my friends friend have done it too.

Arnack
Hmm, I'm not going to get into it, but how does it work? I know there is a board, and a pointer, but what now?
thug007
i did google it only 2 sites GOOD came up. i did get some good info though.
Xoisk el Soñador
you must respect it, and become great with it, it's a tool...And new people to this "tool" will not respect, or they will cause harm while using it.
MJB222
Ouiji boards a scientific explanation, and no it's not ghosts. rolleyes.gif It's the twitching of your hands. It's nearly impossible to keep your hand completly still, espeicaly when your nervous. And then the rest of the group will kinda go along with the twitching to make an answer. Something like that.

But some of the stories are pretty unexplainable though, which is why you should experament with it. I have one avalible, but I cannot find any other people brave enough to try it with me.
Arnack
What do you exactly do when you do it? How do the get the letters/numbers/words?
Xoisk el Soñador
I think your suppose to ask the sprit you want to contact, I wouldn't want to find out
ABOTU
....most of the time someone is moving it.... Like in Seances, when the medium says "Tap once for yes, and twice for no" then they do the tapping. It's to give people one heck of a scare
Arnack
So you ask the ghost a question and they move it or they move your hand?
Larving

The ghost is supposed to possess you and move the hand for you.

Which is why some people (I think it's just stupid myself) think that you can get permanently possessed by doing it.
Arnack
For you all: here is a good site: http://www.paralumun.com/ouijaboard.htm

Hi, I'm new to the board but I wanted to reply to Thug. I didn't have a good experience with my ouija board. The spirits got nasty with me and my friends. I threw it away after hearing voices and seeing my hairbrush fly through the air by itself. I would advise to just leave it alone, but that is totally your decision. no.gif
Arnack
OO BAD BOY angry.gif spirits don't like you

Anyways, how did you do it?

Arnack
What do you excactly do with a board? I dont want to by one, how do I make one and stuff? o=
Xoisk el Soñador
I think people make them our of a thick paper, like old paper...It's been so long since I've seen one. But my family has a long history of witches on my mother's side. I know there's a certain blessing to it.
Hoagy
Hey gang,

did anyone check further in this section?, as there are plenty of other ouija threads that are virtually the same as this one, and I can tell you now that there will be posts on here about them being a product of the imagination, and the retorts about them being gateways to evil spirits/demons/whateveryouwanttocallthem.

If you mean how did I get the board to work, my friends and I simply placed our fingertips on the planchette (sp?) and asked out loud if anyone would like to communicate with us. Then things kinda snowballed from there. We would be on the ouija board constantly, every evening. Then we had a spirit that said some threatening things to us. Me being the coward that I am, crying.gif quit playing on the board for awhile. That's when I started hearing voices in my room, telling me to get out and stuff. Then my hairbrush flew across the room when no one else was home. That was the final straw for me. I threw the board away and haven't touched one since. I have friends who tell me that nothing like that ever happened to them, so I'm not sure why it happened to me. Hope this answers your questions!

I have a hard time believing that a Ouija Board really works. It is just a board game. Still People really do feel that the Ouija Board is a useful Instrument that can summon spirits. Now there is a Ouija Oracle Card Game that they also say can summon spirits.
Sofia_ Romanya
I've never heard of an ouija card game, is it new? How does it work? Anyone know?
Pilgrim Shadow
Yeah, I remember my sister and my cousin used to scare themselves silly with the thing. I always thought it was a lot of hooey.
It's the power of suggestion, nothing more.
But as I say time and again, never underestimate the power of suggestion!

The ouija is not a card game it is a board that lets you talk to the dead only thing is once you start you may not be able to control what comes through, evil spirits will, alot of the time act as if they are someone else them, they will attach themselves to this world, also it allows demons a portal into this world have you ever heard people talk about shadow creature's alot of the time the person will have played with a ouija board, thus letting demons into there home if you have never messed with one don;t its not worth the trouble it can cause!!!
Carla
Ok seriously I wouldn’t bother with them let me tell you this. My friend kept nagging me to come play the Ouija board with her one she bought from the net in a grave yard so in the end I agreed. We went down and it was late in the night to be honest we didn’t get as far as asking questions because I just got up and run out. When I got home I couldn’t stop thinking about it lol seriously it plays havoc on your mind . I think it will give you more problems mentally than anything else. Why? Because you freak yourself out thinking what if a ghost followed me home. In my opinion leave it alone with so many bad story’s about them things all these people cant be wrong.

your right they are not wrong, they are a tool for evil to pass into our world and they are very dangerous, ask people who have shadow people following then if they ever played with one most will tell you yes if they do not lie about it.

It's kind of sad that they still sell those in Toys -R- Us. :/

Yes, homemade one can work just as well. You can cut out little squares of paper and write alphabet on them and all the numbers from 0 to 9. Then place them in the circle with "YES" and "NO" in the middle. Use a light glass turned upside down. I don't know how it workes but it does. unsure.gif

Since I haven't put a lot of input on this massive topic I'll share my experience with an Ouija board. Me and my friend Mike were in his sister's room, we've heard stories from family members about seeing a little girl roaming the house. About 20 years ago a little girl Penny was hit by a car right outside of the driveway and is claimed to be haunted all the residences within the area. For some reason she must have a vulgar attraction to my friends house because each member had stories of having an experience with her ghost. Well that morning he went to a garage sale of an eldarly women and purchased a Ouija board which was from 1970 I think...Well anyways we went in his sister's room to try it out and see if the Ouija actually worked, I was pretty cautious from all the stories I heard on the UM boards. Well we lit the room with candles and did what the Ouija box instructed the user to do, and we slowly waited before asking a question. I told my friend not to be stupid or disrespectful, yet without any need of listening, he asks "Where is Satan?!" I simply threw the board off my knees...I'm not sure if I mentioned we lit the room with candles, and slowly they started to flicker out one by one. This freaked me the hell out, I ran out of the room all the way upstairs into his living room. About five minutes after that we heard this annoying deep growling, but it sounded like it was coming from the earth and being filtered by the soil. Now I was started to get scared of being in that house and I tried to make conclusive thoughts this was all my imagination. Mike went into his brothers room and came out with this Japanese doll that could spin after winding it up for about 20 seconds. He placed on a counter next to me and walked away to use the restroom. All of a sudden the doll started spinning by itself and both of his dogs looked at it as if it were someone breaking into their household. I know I started to step away and mike had returned from the restroom and turned the doll off, his dog Aries soon jumped onto him and tried to bite him just for touching this little Japanese doll. We were quiet just listening for what could it be doing all these unknown actions, and as for the final experience doors started slamming downstairs. Let me mention only Mike, and I had been the only be within the house. That's about it, we stayed upstairs and didn't dare to venture downstairs. It taught me to never use a Ouija board again unless i do it with someone with experience.

Hell yeah... Don't mess with them! They stir up a lot of bad things from evil spirits. You just don't know what doorway you might be opening up.

2ndly... I had my own bad experience. Me and a friend were in my room sitting on my bed with the lights out and candles lit. Both my windows were shut tight. It was just us and my mother downstairs. My bedroom was upstairs at the time. Anyway, we asked about any spirits in the house and a gust of wind churned knocking over the board and candles to the floor. I have a very soft rug on the floor and both candles that were made of glass at least two to three inches thick broke in half. They did not bounce off of anything and fell directly to the floor. Again, my windows were shut. My bedroom door was also shut, so that rules out any wind blowing from another bedroom window.

We got scared sh*tless... ran so fast out of the room and stayed out of my room the rest of the night. Later that night I found out those were actually witch candles. My mom got them back in the day when she was a teenager from friends who use to practice wierd things. In the same night, ( this was during summer time ) we went to swim in my pool. I almost drowned that night in my pool. I promised myself never again would I fool with that thing again. I threw it away in the garbage.

Nothing else bad happened in my house since then... so you tell me.

Interesting i agree dont mess with them and jeenuh wasnt that joke lol

Yeah I know what you mean, and my aunt had tons of experience with the use of a Ouija board but then it randomly started sleeping out explicit word at her. So even people with experience are still in danger.
Hoagy
asking a ouija board 'where is Satan?' seems like a very un-smart thing to do...

regardless of whether or not the stuff is real.
Mongyu
Don't know if this would be helpful but.. I think the board is really real.. even its made out of paper.. And should be left alone. Me and my cousin made one and started to fool around with it, than I got stupid and started to act dumb and my nose started to bleed like heck. It was after I asked a dumb question. I don't remember what it was, but imagine if it was the real deal. I would had be brain dead or something tongue.gif

Prehaps it has to do with spirits/entities and not the board itself so it dosen't matter if you spit on it and call it a damn vulgar cardboard... you said it yourself, it's a tool. It's what you summon throught it that can be dangerous wether you respect it or not.

Don't try it. It's not worth it. The only people capable of dealing with the board and it's summons are those who are into it since a long time ago and that have already dealt with troubling/evil entities before.

As an amateur, if you ever get it to work, you have a great chance of beeing in trouble because weaker/more vulnerable people (like most of us who are only amateurs, including myself) seem to be a great target for evil spirits. They absolutely NEED us to invite them so they can haunt/posses us so with a ouija board, it's exactly what you do... think about it.

which just brings me back to an old question, if these boards are capable of such feats, why has the church not kicked up a stink about it? why are they still being sold in toy shops? and whay are we not knee-deep in spiritual activity thanks to curious thrill-seekers????? huh.gif
isis-999
I have said so many times, the quiji board is very real,it is away for evil spirits to come into your house, and once they come in it is very hard to rid yourself of them, i will never understand why people still use them there has been so much proven; about the danger's that can come from these boards, yet someone always thinks they can control the spirits that can come threw, this tell's me these people do not know anything about the power of demons and evil spirits, devil.gif no.gif
zrina11
Friends of mine were playing with the board and they asked the spirit to give them a sign so they know it's there and there was a knock on the window. Mind you, they were on 4th floor at the time. Spooky!!! And for days after that the lights were turning on and off by themselves.

I only did it hanfull of times when I was younger but I never had a bad expirience.

Why don't people ask the Ouija board things like, "Where can I get a great New York style bagel and the best espresso in town?" Or, "What's the point spread for the Lakers/Celtics game next Tuesday?"
Why is it always, "When will I die?," and "Does the ghost of Uncle Ernie want to talk to me?"
