Ok I know - yet another re-cycled one grin2.gif

Just kick back & enjoy it!

"I found this on an Austrailian site and I just had to share it with you ~ it's fab!

'.............They lived on a desolate property, their nextdoor neighbours lived a few km's away on each side. He told us a story about something that happened in that house that makes my blood run cold everytime I recount it.

One night, his mother got out of bed because she couldn't sleep. She walked into the loungeroom and switched on the tv to help put her back to sleep. There was no other light on in the house other than the light that was being displayed from the television. And then out of the corner of her eye to the left of her, Michael's mother saw something move quickly across their front verandah.

She got up and turned the loungeroom light on, and looked out the windows that ran along the whole length of the verandah. She didn't see anything, so leaving the light on she sat back down on the couch and continued watching tv. After a couple of minutes, she saw it again. This time, she stayed where she sat and just moved her head. When she looked at the steps that led from the front gate to the verandah, she saw a blackened human head peering at her. It was as if a burned man was sitting on the bottom step staring at her. She couldn't see a body, and her logic kicked in and she realised that if there was a body to it, she would be able to see it because the steps weren't that big.

She got up and went back to bed, shaking and sweating from what she had just seen.

Then the next day, she was telling her husband what had happened. And when she told him that it wasn't possible to only see a head if something was sitting on the step, he went pale white. When she asked him what was wrong, he told her that a couple of years before they moved into that house, a man was driving his tractor out in the Pilliga Scrub surrounding the house, and it overturned. As the tractor rolled over, it cut the man in half and then burst into flames. He was dead by the time anyone realised what had happened.

So the only explaination for the burned, charcoal head of a man Michael's mother saw the night was the man that had been chopped in half and burned alive. And the reason why she couldn't see his body, was because there was only half of him sitting on the step.... He was using his hands to run along their verandah that night.... She was just unfortunate enough to actually see it....

They moved not that long after she saw that.... '

Put down that parrafin! You're saving that for your big 'Burn Believers' party!

Seriously now, what do all belivers make of this story? Did the poor guy realise he was dead? Was he still frantically trying to get to the safety of the house and call for help? Is he re-living the dreadful accident?

Well??

that is one cuh reepy story!
a burnt half body running on it's arms is stuff that nightmares are made of!
i'm mostly a skeptic, but if i had to guess based on all the ghost stories i've read i'd say he didn't know he was dead and was wondering who the heck was in his house. lol! half a guy and he doesn't realize he's dead??
that's the kind of haunting you do NOT want!

man, i'm not sleeping tonight and i'm never looking out a window at night again!!

OH...MY...GOD!!! Forget it! I'd be screaming bloody murder for my husband and been gone THAT NIGHT! I don't want the top half of a burned corpse for my friend. Sorry. no.gif Yeah, there'll be some funky dreams tonight.

I think it's perfectly possible. If you chop the head off of a chicken it still runs for a while.

neen, enkel tot dat het doodgebloed is... of zo... en er zijn genoeg verhalen die stellen hoe iemand nadat hij onthoofd is nog verder bewust praat (voor een klein tijdje)

No, only until it's bled to death... kind of... there's plenty of stories who tell the tale of people who, after having been decapped, keep talking conciously (for a little while)

Yeah I've heard those stories. Sort of the human element applied to the chicken running around with it's head cut off....

The head was walking with its hands! I have a question;when was the guy killed?

No, the upper torso was walking/running on it's hands*snickers*, not sure when the person in question was killed though.

This may have been a classic ghost sighting rather than spirit. The ghost of the confused and injured man trying to alert people to his accident.
