I’ve read many many books on spiritualism….covering topics such as ,direct voice,Channelled writing,physical manifestation,spirit photography.
Because these books were mostly written in the 1800’s most of them have been written off as fanciful or even more commonly …lies.Back then serious scientists such as Oliver Lodge and William Crookes used to get involved,and if we are to believe what we read they played a big part in proving that spirit was a real phenomenen.They even had gatherings whereby Spirits manifested under laboratory conditions…..so we are told.
Gatherings were common where spirits would manifest and talk and even mingle with their relatives.But these days all that is dismissed as bunkum.....was it ?
Why don’t we hear or see this anymore ? is it because they were ALL fake or is it because of the fear of ridicule……..The nearest we seem to be able to get to it these days is the joke that is Derek Acorah and his ilk.Does anyone know if actual real spirit communication is being carried out these days and if so where we can find out about it ?
The last serious attempt I heard of was the Schole experiments but I haven’t heard of anything since.
Is anyone involved in the modern spiritualist movement and if so could you fill us in on what is happening there ?What actually happens at one of these meetings.

In relation to the 1800's spiritualism, they had a lot more scientists behind them. I wonder why the only scientists and research groups of modern spirituallism are skeptics, working to debunk?

I can tell you where it is happening Bogeyman.

Right here on this board, in the bookstore, at work, at school, in our homes – everywhere there is people communicating to other people, spirits are communicating.

However, since the beliefs in spirit or soul tell us nothing in particular, it is really is just us people after all.

I'm here.. heh... I don't have the answers.. and honestly, I doubt there are.
