Full Version: All Electric & Intergalactic Space Flight!
Unexplained Mysteries Discussion Forums > Science > Science & Technology

Students, space science buffs, and Star Trek physics fans alike may be thrilled to know StarDrive Engineering has revealed, confirmed, and patented an exotic new all-electric aerospace vessel which uses just a number of commonplace late 20th century technologies, as is an over-unity electronic dynamo of similar design that will produce abundant, clean and inexpensive electric power! An actual full set of primary systems hardware specifications is included for just such a machine – one which could realistically achieve very-near-light speed and perhaps be made to induce a stable metric space warp, thereby opening a whole new era in deep space exploration!

Here's the numbers of their US Patents:

Patent 6,404,089 : For the Electrodynamic Field Generator. Was issued to Mark Tomion, author of StarDrive Engineering. This Patent is the first in the world for a truly all-electric starship propulsion system and power plant. Regrettably, students and engineers might be a bit disappointed to see that the Detailed Calculations provided at the close of the Description section, which show how the level of electrically-developed reactionless thrust is figured, are almost unrecognizable in the online American version.

Fortunately, the Europeans distilled a pdf copy for the EDF Generator's PCT (International) Patent Application that's photostatically identical to the original, so the math and drawings are reproduced beautifully. BE SURE TO READ ALL OF THE SITE, Although, the rabbit hole is DEEP.

I believe that Mark Tomion of American Antigravity has done many interviews with the inventor. Mark Tomion also made a page on this device, the page really sums the entire invention up in less then several paragraphs. By the way, you don't feel the effects of G-Forces in this device, im not sure why, but it works like an S.E.G, you just don't.

The only downfall is time dillation. You could have left the earth for a few months while your family might have become years older... Lol, however, I really wouldn't mind going ahead in time, in some ways its a bonus.

So does this mean that soon we will be building large starships?

The inventor of this propulsion system is making alot of progress, hopefully we'll see a manned prototype and the death of rocketry within the next five years.
AztecInca
The death of rocketry eh?!?! That may take longer than you think not only have we been using that for a long time but people love to see things that make a damn lot of noise and fireworks!
Thanato
Well we have only been using Rockets for Space Travel for like what 50 years, its not that long of a time.

With this technology and the ability to travel through space ALOT more easily, we will need to develop some sort of Arty-Grav sistem.

Yah, im not sure if they'll actually have gravity in this vehicle, but they do have shielding from radiation.. Amagine, in twenty years, we could have things that would make George Lucas drool.
Thanato
ya, that would be cool. Then we can make something like Starfleet (but more practical, like Earth Stellar Navy, or something), AND MAYBE unit all of the Human Race.

so this is just all theoretical sci-fi stuff now right?

No, the firm which developed the technology they talk of has patented all of there propulsion systems and there books contain detailed and nonfictional information, its real!

Im trying to get a quote on an interplanetary vessel to start an aerospace firm, and was wondering if any webdesigners would like to help with the production of the site and the literature which is posted on it. Also, if any Lawyers or buisnessman on this board would like to help for free, please come forward.

SO why isnt NASA already looking at this technology?

NASA doesn't make much progress because of the politicians. NASA is to dependent on Rockets and they are going no place fast(puns intended) and that is why many of the elite scientists and pilots are encouraging the private firms to attempt to get into space.

The true future of space travel relies on the private sector.

has anybody made one of these to see if it works, or is it just on paper?
thefounder
It works theoretically, its similar to searls SEG except that its actually patented and can be easily replicated with the information provided in his book.

I've had a short conversation with Mark Tomion in person and he has told me that there's a single major problem left to solve, how to deal with the heat generated by the propulsion system.

Again, im currently working on a buisness plan for my new proprietorship coined, rocketless. Within the next three months I should have a website and hopefully a contract with StarDrive Engineering to have a vessel built within the next few months (at the most a year after pay).
Thanato
So will it be a manned ship? or a non manned ship, and now Rich are you?

Rocketless will have a single tourist vessel which should hold 20 tourists and 5 employees.

The company will cost about 20,000,000. Despite the fact that I only make 100,000 canadian a year, I believe that I can aquire all the money needed, all I need is a website designer.

I need a lawyer to help me start an airport of my own, and assure me that I am not doing anything illegal. Im not John Bell, and I've never worked for or heard of him. Im not going to scam people, I plan on running a legit buisness... Please leave me alone, get a life.
thefounder
Either post something that is relavent to StarDrive Engineering and the technology that they have patented or go away. I will be contacting the mods because all you have done since you've signed up with this message board is pick at me, all your posts here were made to debunk me and two people who I do not know. If you join this forum, atleast post something that is related to the topic of the thread your viewing.

Wow that sounds so cool, I would love be a part of your new space acadamy. Lets see i'm thinking of writeing a check and finding someone to do this for you, but were do I send my check????

Come on it took more then 20 mill to build a hybrid car that cost 20 grand and your talking about space trave ! Your own airport even cooler were can I get some really cheap fight lessons. What ever
Thanato
Accualt, all he needs is some investments. And some supporters.

If you get your thing off the ground and get a ship going, i would be willing to apply as a Crew Memeber, it is my life long dream to go into space, and do it on a yearly or monthly basis would be kick ass.

Im vary sure he doesn't own that company. They have done some work with university students though, im sure of it, how can I deny it If I did work with them, but I never knew he was, "them."

Anyways, I decided not to make a buisness plan, I won't need investors because I believe that I have a way of getting my own money with much external help. At the moment im just looking for a web designer and lawyer

By next month I should hopefully have my proprietorship registered with British Columbia. Then, by the end of this summer I should have enough money to build the airport which will have an electrical fence, cement landing pad, motion sensors, parking space, and the AS&E BodySearch System.

**Im an engineer, so I can design the facility myself for little money**

I've figuered it out! That computer company wasn't the one we worked with, there are multiple companys called crystal ware. The company I believe I worked for, maybe three years ago, was called crystal-ware and it was for engineering a computer related factory (http://www.crystal-ware.com/).
thefounder
.. Sorry for so many posts in a row, but I wish to keep everyone informed about my work and I also do like promoting StarDrives wonderful technology. Anyways, I no longer need a web designer, I've got a template and will do it on my own.
