A zoologist at the University of Manitoba says he's "very skeptical'' about a reported Bigfoot sighting near the remote community of Norway House. Professor James Hare says there is always the possibility of discovering a new species of animal. But he says if Bigfoot does exist, someone in North America would probably have found hard evidence by now. He adds many sightings have turned out to be hoaxes. Bobby Clarke, a ferry operator, has a short piece of video footage of what appears to be a tall, hairy creature walking upright in the Nelson River. Many residents in Norway House have seen the video, but Clarke has now stopped showing the tape and is hoping to sell it to a media outlet.
Vancouver author and amateur researcher says Bigfoot-type creatures exist and are likely in northern Manitoba.

I can't wait to see the footage, but now he's selling it I'm not so sure about it. Mind you, If I caught a film of Bigfoot I'd expect some money for it.

Duh, it doesn't take a Zoologist with a facy degree to see that Big Foot is a fake

But I guess it does take some teenager to tell evreyone so.
You have never researched the subject. You know nothing about it. Please don't come on here and tell evreyone it's a fake - especially since most of us have done a LOT of research on bigfoot and are at a much better position to decide. We do not need you to tell us.

I heard the same story on the radio earlier. It's quite a shame really, I had high hopes for this story. As for the comment on Bigfoot being fake, I don't think it's so good to jump to such a quick conclusion. You should do a lot more research before opening your mouth. You should also think about the other intriguing things people have discovered over the years.
I personally have a firm belief that the Sasquatch exists (along with my friend, who actually has a very interesting story about his encounter with one!). To conclude my first post, I believe it's only a matter of time before one will be found, dead if not alive, and no scientist will be able to prove it's a fraud.
P.S. It's highly unlikely, but if anyone has this footage, I would really appreciate it if you could send it to me.

Thanks for the welcome Walken. I'm no stranger to Unexplained-Mysteries.com, however the forums are a new experience for me. Thus far, I must say I am enjoying myself and hopefully things will remain that way.
Thanks again for the welcome.
