Has anyone ever went into a daze during the day and suddenly you have visions of the world ending? i have had dreams and have been told about ppl going into a daze and this happening. if dis has happened 2 anyone tell me

i think it's something evreyone experiences through fear of death. I wouldn't look too much into it as I don't really think it's anything special.

I have had many terrible dreams of the end of days. These dreams are so deep and real I almost get lost in them.

I wont go into every little detail, but the sky is almost always black.
There is fire everywhere, everything is burning. There are people screaming and earthquakes.

People lashing out, and people preaching. Many different forms of religion are being taught at this time,

It also felt terribly..........empty. It was the strangest feeling. Almost like floating in space.

I've several end of the world type dreams. None brought on by any god.. but by our selves. I'll share one:

I started out, walking down this one street, in what was supposed to be my home town. I got to this building, I think it was were I was supposed to work, and there was this guy, named John there. He was supposed to be my lover. Soon what was apperantly a nuke hit us, and we all went into the basement. There was a bit of a black out, and when I "came to" I noticed John was gone, but this other guy was there, along with a couple of random people. There was some, brief blips of being in rooms, and outside before I turned to see thies Christian preist fellow, trying to lead all the survivors in prayer. Then this African American fellow, who I assumed was Muslim, a lady from India, who I assumed was Hindu, and this Asian fellow, who I assumed was Buddist stood up, then a Pagan stood up. I heard a voice saying, "If you're going to pray, inclued everyone."

I then turned and saw down the street, John. So I screamed out after him and ran towards were I saw. I went through this sprinkler, then turned around. I saw his image in the water from the sprinkler, and it didn't move. I went to grab him, but he dissapeared. I started crying as the water fell over me. This elderly lady walked up and said "Come on, lets join the three others who lived." I blinked and said "No, there are 10 or 15, this way..." and led her down the street. That's when I noticed the trees. They had little to no bark, and no leaves. Their wood was bleached while, and smooth to the touch. Then I looked around and saw the buildings. They were completely untouched. No windos broken.. even the grass was still there. Then something hit me, and I stood there. The last thing I remember saying was "I don't think we survived."

Then I heard a little girl scream.. and I awoke...


Since that dream.. I was plagued by nightmares...

Hugh that sounds correct except the way I beleive and what is taught in chritianity is that there will only be 2 religions. The first one is The New World Order Religion which will be a religion led by the antichrist and everyone will be made to either follow it or be headed. And the 2nd one will be the Chritianity Religion that won't follow the One World Religion and will be the true beleivers from the beleivers that will follow the one world religion only to survive and not for God. But that is what I see and what the bible says..

Hi there SC, just to let ya know now that I don't wanna try to make you beleive that this is related to God. I'am just gonna tell to me what it sounds like so please don't take it personal against your beleifs.

To me the nuke being laid will be part of WW III. Then the praying of all the religions will represent the One World Religion controlled by the NWO and antichrist. Cuz when all the terrible earthly things then people will cry out what can we do to please God. And the One World Religion will be formed that everyone will be made to follow or be beheaded. So that way they will think that they are pleasing God when actually they aren't for many reasons that I don't wanna take time to go into.
The image of John that you see in water that dissapears could be the calling up of God for his people in the first Rapture. Cuz you can be forgiven for your sins anytime and I guarentee that if you are when the rapture is brought up that you will be going for a ride with it. But when WWIII and the rapture and one world religion and all the natural disasters happen, the end won't be over yet.
For do you know that somewhere over in some country that there is a bomb that if it is set off will kill everything living whether in air, ocean or land. and not one thing like a building or the cars on the streets will be touched. But the trees and creatures and beings will die. But to me I don't beleive God will let the world be destroyed by man. For man has been destroying it for eons of yrs. And God I beleive is coming back soon to fix what is his and what was meant to be!!

I will have to differ with you. There was no presence of any "anti-Christ" anywhere. These people did this on thier own accord and not to any one being for help.

I can garuntee that people are not going to blindly follow some "huge religious" figure, especialy when it has nothing to do with thier beliefs period.

on topic: i don't have visions of the world ending, but perhaps man could be irradicated or put back in line (a "reset" if you will). Man might destroy his world, but not THE world.

starlitkate you must live a horrific and depressing life thinking that Armageddon is just around every corner. Get out more, or get a hobby or something, life is great. Your have a nervous brake down by the time your 30 if you keep having paranoid fears of gods wrath.

Look at children play and find joy, watch animals play in the forest and you will feel lucky to be alive, watch the sun set and your find that god is a lot less cruel, kiss and hug those you love around you and be happy, and live the life god gave you. Your be a nervous wreak if you continue, if your not all ready one that is.

Maybe your only be happy when your wish comes true, and the world does go up in smoke…. Man are you depressing. Smile and embrace the amazing and glorious world around you, its your world and your life, enjoy it dear.

If something major happens, it will be due to the hands of man, not god or Satan, I think it will be something a long the lines of what happened in the excellent movie 12 monkeys, but nature it self will cause us to become almost extinct because, she had no other choice, we have been tempting her again and again over the last 100 years. If we keep abusing nature she is going to defend her self, now you do not need to be a rocket scientist to know that if that happens, we are defenceless, and its something that is frightening beyond words. No matter how much we think we rule the earth, mother nature wont have to do much to give us all a huge slap in the face that nature in fact rules us. Mans arrogance and ignorance and greed will be our own down fall.

I think it will take more than the hands of man to destroy the earth. More than likely it will be from his nuclear bombs. Mother nature is a violent b*tch, never forget that.

I have had dreams of the environment being different...like a horrible war and a lot of people were dead around me...me and a few people were trying to get to the top of a building for cover from the verminous marauders that came out of the sewers at night...it was just a dream though...probably meaning I have seen too many horror movies...lol.
I don't think that there is a god or a devil pulling strings making things happen here on earth...life has been the same and in motion for eons ...the physical world is ruled by physical forces not gods and demons...if our end comes it will either be natural or man-made as we do have that capability. Don't worry about it though, just live your life in spite of the bad things around you.

I had one a long time ago which involved a dark sky and vast open sea. There were a lot of people standing there too and it feels like the end, thought nothing violent was happening.

I'll just share one of my dreams. I don't know if you could call it an end of the world dream or not, because the world never actually did end.... but here it is.

I was at the bottom level of a multi-story car park. But it wasn't really a car park. It was the world. (I hope that makes sense here - it was a car park, but it was representative of the whole world)

Anyway, I was at the bottom, working my way slowly up to the top level. Throughout the trip, I'd run into obstacles trying to stop me reaching the top. I also ran into people willing to help me in getting to the top. Strangely, I never ran into anyone actively trying to reach the top themselves (apart from myself of course).

I knew in my heart that once I reached the top I would then be the ruler of the world and could mould it to my will. I also knew in my heart that if I ever reached the top, it would set in motion a chain of events that would destroy the world.

The dream never actually ended. I simply woke up while making my way through one of the levels of the car park. I didn't know how many levels I had gone up, and I had no idea how many levels to the top.

Thought I'd share it with you.

As I said.. I doubt many, if any at all, Pagan religions do... Most are rather solitary or not huge like Hindu or Islam or even Christianity.

I mean I can't speak for the other pagans here... but the feel I've gotten from being here so long... I doubt it would happen. This is assuming this NWO Anti-Christ thing happens.

Startlitkate, the info that you've got comes from the book of Revelation. This book is full of images, not all of which can be taken literally. Indeed, I don't claim to know how to interpret all of them myself.

It is naive and silly to think that there will only be TWO RELIGIONS. What we know is that an Anti-christ will come and perform miracles in the name of God and millions will follow him. Anyone that doesn't will be killed. The Bible only makes reference to Christians resisting, but that does not say that other's won't.

And that is only one interpretation. Another is that we are already in the "End Times". And we live, for the first time in a truly global society, someone or something could/has/is/will come and set themselves up as God/ruler. Some possibilities that I can think of are the Pope, the President, David Koresh (the Waco, Texas cult dude), television, the internet ....

I'm not claiming one or the other, or another interpretation that I didn't put down here is or is not correct. Just that Revelations is a really hard book to read and take absolutes from.

I've had a couple of dreams about the end of the world...in one particular dream, my family and I were watching the news about all these catastrophic things happening world wide, fires, earthquakes...so on...when i hear a knock at my door...I answer it and it is a man in a very professional business suit. I can't see his face, but I remember trying to look up, but I am compelled to look down and I notice he is wearing sandals. I can't remember in detail what words he said, but then he left. I also remember that no one else noticed him, they just kept watching the tv. Suddenly there is an earthquake and I run to the windows to see what is going on, as I am on the third floor of an apartment building and I see the pavement on the parking lot below split with smoke coming out from inside. Then I see a swarm, or like many swarms of what sounds like bees...fly out through the smoke. These things weren't bees though...
I can't remember right at this moment what happened afterward-I believe I had waken from this dream.
There were others too...but it is very late, and the part of my brain that is mainly with memory seems to be shutting down...

Indeed, the book of Revelations is extremely hard to understand. There are so many symbols and things to interpret.

John was taken into the future and the things he had seen, had never been seen in his time. So, this is one reason why.

Ummm sorry Faeden that you have to be so ridiculeous. You call my life horrific and depressing. I'am sorry but I'am very happy. My life aint been close to a bowl of yummy fruit, but I've changed that for the better. You don't know me and you call me horrific and why? cuz I state my beleifs of what I beleive the world will end by God. And how many posts have you posted on this post already??? For I have a beautiful 19 month old daughter, loving spouse, beautiful home and really I'am happy. I get out of house almost everyday. I walk twice a day and play outside all the time. I enjoy loving life and breathing. You are a judger and like to judge me on everything I said. My beleifs don't make me depressing and miserable. As a matter of fact I haven't picked up the bible in I don't know how long. I've read it thru and thru and haven't picked up and read a end of days book in forever, why cuz I don't focus my life around it. I beleive I do beleive and stand firm by it and don't care about stating it, why cuz why should I hide and be afraid to. So no, I don't base my life around it. You posts quite your share on these topics when you see one pop up. Only depressing one I see is you!!
So leave me be and stop the name calling, rediculing of my posts and judging of me on everything. It's getting old to look at. It's a religion forum. I know alot more poeple that posts more than I do on subjects. Only difference is most of these same ones question God rather than stand by any beleif on him. When I was a kid (which was a long time ago) I used to have dreams about atomic death. I think it was because of all the under the desk drills we used to have during the cold war.
When we talk about the end of the world are we talking about the destruction of the planet or the destruction of mankind? All things come to an end or actually change. The time of man will sooner or later come to an end. Plants and animals are becoming extinct at a rate faster than at anytime other time on the planet. That should tell us something right there. It is only a matter of time for humans. Then there is always that odd rock coming around the sun that catches us by surprise. Whether by our own hand or random chance the end or change will come. In the mean time the best thing we can to is love each other and try not to hurry it along.

i'm a bit odd with dreams, at any time my dream will stop and another will start for no reason.

last night i had a dream about an end of the world type scenario with meteors.

i can't remember it too well but i was with some friends and we were in some city when all different sized meteors kept smashing into all the buildings and streets.

i just remember running, trying to find my family, gf and best friend to tell them i loved them.

so unless i died in my dream and that's why it ended..
