Anyone play this?

Any good?
Subtemperate
I have had that game.... Its kinda like a platform version of Double Dragon, using weapons and trying to cause a revolution....

The graphics arent the greatest, but it was fun... at least for a little while...
Walken
Go deeper Subby, deeper into your SoUl
Subtemperate
lol.... How much deeper do you want?

The gameplay is ok.... not much different to many games, the violence is very high..... you can pick up pipes and brutally bash people, and police...... heaps of different items can be picked up, including Garbage can, guns, rocket launcher, flame thrower.....

Nothing is funnier then watching about 30 people running around on fire..... Well...in a game....
Walken
What about the rioting? Tis it fun? Can I kill a-many?
Subtemperate
Yeah...each level you have a certain kill quota you have to reach... often about 60 or so.....Everywhere you go there are heaps of people running... (obviously in a riot lol)..... Its kinda like powerstone 2..... with heaps of people within arms length
Walken
Oh cool. I usually just riot in GTA with the peds riot and the peds have weapons cheat but this game sounds very-a cool-a.
Subtemperate
I enjoyed it, but Its very much the same thing over and over, with not a lot of variety in missions...its just hurt so many in so much time and such.....

It replay value may not be too high, but its good for a bit of fun....
Shakezulah
ive owned this game for about 2 years. it is a very fun game, imo. lotsa violence and gore. the arcade mode is pretty fun cuz you can get extremely high scores and bonuses and kill a massive amount of people. campaign mode is cool too. fun missions, even in such small levels. i havent played it in such a long time tho. maybe when i fix my ps2 i will play it. the only thing that sucks about the ps2 version is that there is no multiplayer. they brought out an xbox version much later after the ps2 version with multiplayer. that pissed me off.
BurnSide
I rented it once. Got through the entire game in an evening. It's definately fun, but i found it very lacking in replay suprisingly. It's not as free-roamed as i'd like, and it's pretty much just the same thing over and over.
Walken
So I'm better off just wreaking havoc with GTA riot cheats?
riotboy555
I bought it, and it was a disappointment. It was fun for a little while, but like Burnside said, it lacked in replay and wasn't as free roaming.
Walken
Well I too discovered that it got boring after a week or two laugh.gif
Amalgamut
This is a good game. I would suggest on renting it first.
FLY SPITTA
I have not played it, but my friend said it was cool he also said it was kind of like a fake grand theft auto. I seen a add for it before in some video game magazine and to me it looks cheap. The graphics are very weak. huh.gif
Shakezulah
I tried starting a new game today. I got frusterdated right away and whipped the case against my wall, making a big crack on it tongue.gif The game can be very hard, making it unfun. Its only good sometimes.
Dando Kast
I played the game once.... I thought it was pointless, boring, dumb, etc, etc...... I was really only dissapointed that there was no free roam..... developers gotta realize being able to free roam is wicked in games like that...
Shakezulah
What do you mean there was no free roaming? Thats all the game was. tongue.gif The environments werent very huge, but you could still go anywhere you wanted in them, thus making it free-roaming.
Dando Kast
I guess I didn't play long enough to realize it.... GTA just had my expectations too high I guess
Shakezulah
Yeah, SoE is basically like a mini-GTA with no vehicles. But SoE 2 is going to be MUCH bigger, and with vehicles. So Im assuming its gonna be awsome compared to the first.
Dando Kast
And this Time GTA:SA will have my expectations too high original.gif....
