Since most people say that Kuwait is an oil country … they always emagin that the people here live in tents with an oil well beside it … as I told someone that this is not true … we can hardly see the oil wells … they are far from the reseidental homes … We have lovely houses here in Kuwait … So I have decided to show you my house as proff of what some people think …
We built and moved into this house two years ago … because my two brothers got married … and my parents wanted them to live with us … so now we have bigger space … but I still like our old house … because it was the place where I was born and raised all of my life …
So is Short here in my house and I hope to see your too …

Not quite what I'd call a house, I've seen blocks of flats smaller .

This is our servants quarters. Our house isn't finished yet, darned Frank Lloyd Wright had to go and die now we have to find another architec.

As someone who has spent a great deal of time in the Middle East, including Kuwait, I must say I have seen plenty of homes like that over there. It is true that Kuwait is nothing more than an oil country, and with the wealth of oil, and a tiny population, it would be hard to believe if they didn't have homes like yours
