I agree,theres something very creepy about the footage.The way the Alien starts to freak out with bulging eyes makes me get goosebumps.

In today’s world special effects are so realistic that anything can be created.
the way it moves its head and mouth and other facial features makes it look real. though it also looks to me a bit computer generated,maybe it just has a computer generated look but actually isnt. dont know what to think of it. but its pretty cool though.
in 1996 I don't think they had that great computer video making programs, and the sound has been taking out so his friend won't be known, if you click the 2nd link, read what the guy says, it sounds weird, really!!

I've always found this footage fascinating. I highly agree about how it tends to really give an uneasy feeling right down in your gut. Like anything that is out there though, it's just another video that can't be proven. However, to my knowledge it hasn't been disproven. To me, that speaks volumes.
Assuming its real, I wonder how it got out?

Have to agree with whoa, It really does look like a bobble head of some kind or a puppet on strings. Is there a reason that it is so dark hmm aliens don't like light. How ever I do believe but will not be fooled.
Hmmm....I´ve seen this video, but without sound. You guys are saying that the this talked? But still...it looks like a doll. Why is it so dark in the scenery? The humans don´t approach it with cation. The creature is not quarantined while the team only wears mouth protection, that´s silly.

There is no sound with this video. The guy that allegedly smuggled this piece of footage out of area 51 ( " Victor" ) erased the sound in order to hide the identity of the people you can see in the video.
Its not a 3 hours piece of film. The entire piece is less than 4 minutes.
Personally, i think this one is genuine, and that it shows a real alien being captive, maybe against or not against its will, some time ago at area 51.

I've always found this to be an interesting piece of evidence. I don't know if I believe that it is genuine and something doesn't seem quite right about the alien. At the same time I really can't see anything that would out and out prove that this is a fake. Unless new evidence comes forward we'll have to file this one under unknown.

I really dont know, I do a lot of 3d and special effects and you have no idea how hard it would be to block and animate all of that, especially back then when they had crappy 3d software!! All of those arms moving in front of the alien means they all have to blocked out, a lot of work. And the acting would have to be amazing... Now if its a puppet, or something.. also extremely hard, becuase the mouth looks so real when it opens... just my 2 cents
The version on this site is quite short,toward the end of the full footage it gets stranger,the lil guy really starts freakin out.Bulging eyes and head.Some doctors come in and try helping the alien,the way they act is very believable and doesn't seem staged or acted,almost with compassion for the dying alien.....

yeah the movements may not look like that of a human, but then again aliens are not human, they may hop and skip when they walk for all we know. and I agree,computer generated SFX would be pretty damn hard to do in that time period,unless you have Industrial Light an Magic over at your house.

If something does not have eyelids, than blinking it quite impossible. Until I see conclusive evidence that documents this footage as fake, then I will keep an open mind about it.

I don't really know what to think about this video. The first time I saw it, I had a very bad feeling about it. I kept turning my face away because it really upset me. I know how weird this sounds. As for the jerky movement of the creature in this video, abductees have reported that EBEs move in this way...

It could be that as they come from space (and spend most of their time in an artificial enviroment) and there is no dust that they don't need to blink. I think that is why their pupils are so large because there is only artificial light. I have no doubts whatsoever that these creatures exist, however I see them as human in nature i.e us in about a million years time. Possibly the fact that it hasn't blinked would be more to say that it is authentic as most people if they were going to fake something wouldn't think of that and would have it blinking like jaba the hutt or ET in an attempt to make it look more realistic.

Of course, nobody knows how these beings work, and just because you see them as being a much more evolved version of us, doesn't mean they actually are.
It is agreed though, that while something about the footage doesn't seem quite right it is deffinately creepy.
I'm not taking any side for the moment. But if it is a real "interview" (read here interrogation) I feel bad for him/her/it/whatever.

One of the "Doctors" is wearing a full long-sleeved operating scrub. Well enough..But the other is in a short sleeve scrub and it appears to be white when he turns..Military issue scrubs for the mid 90's were blue. The other doctor has an authentic looking one; why not this person?
Standard operating procedure would also dictate that all medical personnel should be well covered when examining an entity which might harbor foriegn pathogens..I doubt short sleeves would have been allowed.

This would imply authenticity, since if you were to be organizing a fake video, you would have to plan and organize all the costumes. if you were going to produce a fake video, would you hire different costumes?
Well the footage claims to come from inside Area 51, although variations of the tale now include a prison in Cuba and the white house itself 
All video footage ever to show the interior of Area 51 has been a hoax, to my knowledge. I'm yet to see a peice that convinced me. It makes you wonder how these films get out, doesn't it? Especially since the infamous break in footage clearly showed a soldier destroying the camera being used to film.
