Sorry for reply so late..
No, there weren't windows. It was a room with 3 walls without windows, and the 4th wall (that behind the "ghost") had an opening that lead to the Adda river.. The "presencce" seems to come from there!
Thx Nightwatcher to visit our site!

Very, very, very nice pic. Its nice and clear. But there is a little problem. I see the blue light on the side of the picture. Then its on the wall into the ghost. And it seems to be the same light......I dunno. Undecided. Looks amazing. But not sure

You know what? That ghost-picture could be anything. From a real ghost to mist, smoke, gas... the photographer´s own gases (sorry...)
I think that our mind happily creates patterns for us. Our brain desperately searches for things it recognizes in daily life pictures, on walls at home, in trees in the nature etc.
Why? i don´t know, but I know it is that way.
So my suggestion to the photographer of that "ghost" photo; do please evolve a more critical point of view.

Awesome photo~ Now the question is that the sunflare at the top of the pic can somehow change the way the photo captures an area in a dark doorway. I really don't think it's sunflare is the case. There is a roof in this little doorway which would cause the light not to be able to get in there as well. It's not photoshopped and looking at this figure in different contrasts, It's definately there and it actually looks like there's two figures, the one we can see but then there's another one to the right of him. Good Shot!

Not meant to insult. Sorry. But I have seen way too many wild and non-critic "interpretations" of pictures of smoke, mist, trees, water formations, etc where people honestly claim to see faces, arms and figures.
I don't say it's not a ghost. But I say you should, especially in this case where the picture really does not resemble anything (to me at least), evolve a more critical point of seeing things.
I believe when one wishes to see something that much, in the end he/she really will see "something"... in everything.

The picture isnot clear and that thing could be anything. (i mean look at the rocks, look at the various colored pixels throughout the pic, look how the "lighted" parts of the wall look at the far right part of the picture.)
So i 'm afraid this picture isnot convincing enough for me.
