Ok I love my Ipod. so when it flips out, I dont usually lothe it. but right not its just pissing me off. I dont know if its the ipod or my computer.

Im trying to do sound check, so my songs are all at the same volume. So I plug the ipod in, and up pops itunes. It starts running the sound check, but then itunes just stalls. whats worse is it stalls my entire computer. Now I cant take the ipod out, or I might damage the music. Even if I do close itunes, I dont have time to remove the ipod, so itunes pops up again. and then the sound check thingy screws it over. I cant restore it back to factory mode, since I deleted 1/2 of my songs off my computer oh oh and if I try to install the latest itunes, it cant recognize my library of songs, or songs on my Ipod.
If this cant be fixed, I will go down the apple store and make them fix it. They will have to get the security to kick me out, because Ive had way to many problems with this thing, and they refuse to do anything about it.

does anyone have any idea on why my computer stalls? Do I have to uninstall some stuff to make more room in the hard drive?

Call Apple and explain to them what's wrong with it, and ask if they can replace it with a new one. If they say no, go there in person and tell them your iPod's skipping songs and freezing and whatnot. Hopefully you get a nice person who will happily replace it with a new one.

what are the specs of ur pc dude? i hate it when unexplained random stuff like htat happens. if you have any friends with an ipod check theirs on ur pc and see if the same thing happens - then you can narrow the problem down.
