They'd hoped to attract thousands of visitors annually, but directors of the Norwegian UFO Center have been forced to suspend operations. They've run out of money. The UFO center opened at Aalen in Soer-Troendelag last summer, near an area known for UFO sightings. Those in charge hoped as many as 38,000 people would pay to visit every year.
Less than 2,000 showed up during its debut season, however, and now all of the center's share capital of NOK 900,000 is gone, according to local newspaper Adresseavisen.
