im_losing_my_mind
I am a 25yr old canadian. I have always heard about esp and thought it was a bunch of BS. until recently. Six months ago i was diagnosed with a thyroid disease. I have always had headaches and loss of consciousness all my life but never really experienced any form of esp or telepathy. until recently. This is some pretty scary sh**. about two months ago i was sleeping in bed with my wife. I had a horrible dream of watching a young child drown when i awoke i found my nose bleeding profusely, extremely sore eyes and had a major migrane. two days later i was sitting in class in college when i overheard a student talking about a 15 month old girl falling into a five gallon pail of water outside her place and was not found for 24 hrs. It was then i had got an uneasy feeling and picked up my books and went home sick. Another instance was when i was napping in my entertainment room. i began to dream of me being in a train with a bunch of asians.well next thing i know im on top of a massive heap of twisted metal and can smell raw flesh burning. when i looked down i saw many dead bodies. i quickly awoke to find myself with yet another bleeding nose and migrane. never really could figure out what that dream meant but the emotions i had were very uneasy. i went to the doctor and a sleep therapists they conclude that it was in fact my living environment, humid air and low elevation. I thought that was a bunch of BS also. now for the last 2 weeks i have been having more dreams. one in specific is really trying to tell me something, i can tell because of the twisted feeling in my stomach and of the major nosebleeds and very sore eyes. The dream or night mare i shall call it is about me watchin a very young girl standing on the street waiting for someone, she is then taken from behind and raped i see every thing happen but am helpless. the man who's face i can never see then takes the young girl and smashes her head. my dream always shifts to some little highway with the body of the girl laying in the ditch partially decomposed i then see that it is not the girl i have seen in my dreams. i then see many faces of dead girls flash before me. some young some old. my dream then shifts to the rapist from behind, i see that he is sitting in a small apartment or room of some sort playing with many different elastics wrapped around strands of hair some blonde some brown and black. i dont know what this dream is telling me but no other dream has filled me with such anger and emotions that this one has, the nosebleeds are even thicker and the migranes are more intense. i feel that i am all alone with these feelings and fear that the dreams i have will someday drive me mad. aren't dreams supposed to make a person happy and not fill ones mind with great fear. I am getting tired of seeing death everytime i close my eyes. My life history was very good i was born into a small family with a good income. im fully educated and never had any mental or physcological problems. if there is any1 out there that experiences the dreams like i do please contact me. I have posted this paragraphs on many other sites trying to find sum1 that understands me. I try not 2 sleep as much but the stress is really taking its toll on me for i fear to sleep, fear to dream.open eyes are my only savior.

sounds like clairvoyancy more than ESP, which is not unknown when people are diagnosed with something like you mentioned.

Very interesting, I feel bad for you though, as these are very disturbing visions.
DukeofNoodleness
I had a similar experience. And I still have them...but I don't make it public.

I have similar dreams to the ones you are experiencing...however I do not wake up with a nosebleed. I wake up in tears.
The dreams you are talking about may or may not be what people call 'supernatural'. Personally I do not believe in the supernatural in it's literal sense...but I do believe there are things that the human brain has not yet discovered. Telling the future, seeing into it, past lives, ghosts, aliens. These are not supernatural in the literal sense of the word...we are just unknown to them right now...however they may be very natural.

I have had lots and lots of disturbing dreams...but a little different to yours. Your dreams seem more literal. Like things that would happen in everyday life ( I know that sounds morbid but they do!)
My dreams were focussed around abuse, hate, gore and disturbing images. But they didn't always make sense until I had thought about them.

I don't think you should dissregard what the doctors tell you. What you are experiencing may be parts of your subconscious telling you to look more closely at aspects of your life. Please don't automatically think that you are Clairvoyant because you want to beleive it.
Disturbing dreams are often ways of our mind telling us that something in our life is wrong.
For example...I have lots and lots of dreams of my dad dying, being hurt, disturbing images of him. I love my dad with all my heart but there are a few things I wish were different with our relationship. That's all it means. It does not mean that my dad will die or be hurt or that I want that. It just means there are issues that are unresolved. This could be the case with your dreams..or your dreams could be like the others I have....and might just be the conditions you are sleeping in!
Don't dissregard what your doctors say. If you are sleeping in conditions that your body doesn't agree with when you are asleep then it WILL affect you.

For example. Damp, hot, and clamy sleeping conditions can result in headache, migrane, nosebleeds and puffy, itchy eyes. These are what you are experiencing...and the stress that you are building up about these dreams and symptoms will only make them worse. Stress can cause a LOT of symptoms.

Symptoms of stress include:
Headaches
Nausea
Migrane
Paranoia
Muscle pains and aches
NoseBleeds
Sweating

Extreme bouts of stress include symptoms like:
Schitzophrenic episodes and vomitting

It seems like you are in a circle of unfortunate events. Your sleeping conditions may not be right for you combined with the fact you are having nightmares. the stress put on you about these dreams means they only get worse.
Seems like everything is tied into everything else.

I have not covered everything I wanted to say here however I think it's enough.
Please don't ignore what your doctors and specialists say. They are trained and deal with this everyday. Try what they suggest and give them a chance. You might find they're right.

I wish you the best of luck. Try not to get too distressed over it. sad.gif

I have had dreams that have come true, weeks or even years after I dream them. But I also get what I can only describe as "instant visions". These visions happen when I'm fully awake and come when I'm least expecting them, not even thinking of such a thing. To give you an example of the visions I get......about 4 years ago, I was standing at the sink doing dishes. It was a beautiful sunny day and I was looking out the window in front of me watching the birds at my bird feeder. I was in a very cheerful mood and singing low under my breath while I worked, as I often do. Suddenly out of nowhere I got a flash of a small dark-haired girl lying on her side in the fetal position. She was in a rough, rocky, grassy area on the edge of a forest. I didn't see much of her face but I did see that she was wearing a red sweater and blue rubber boots. This was a picture in my mind that lasted for only a second or two and was gone. As often happens when I get these visions I felt nauseous and sad afterward, completely opposite to what I was feeling before. A couple of days later I was watching the evening news on TV and they aired a school picture of a little dark-haired girl. The announcer said that sadly, the girl, who had been missing for over a week had been found dead in a field on the outskirts of the forest where she had gone missing. She had died of exposure. A member of the search party found her body when he had glimpsed her bright red sweater. I knew immediately that this was the little girl in the vision I'd had. Not having watched the news in days, I hadn't known about this child's disappearance, until they found her.

I've already described the dreams I've had that have come true in other threads so I won't go into them again here, but there is one dream that I had 3 years ago about my oldest daughter that really frightens me. In the dream she was a bit older than she actually was at the time and she was driving our car, with her father in the passenger seat. (She has just become a newly licensed driver). In the dream my father-in-law came to our front door and told me that my daughter and husband had been in an accident and it was very bad. I insisted he take me to the scene of the accident. There I found my daughter lying over an embankment . She was dead, but still looked beautiful, with her long blonde hair fanned out around her. She was wearing a beige cable knit sweater. She does not at this time own such a sweater, and since the dream I won't allow her to buy one like that. She, and the rest of my family take these dreams and visions very seriously, so my daughter has promised she won't ever buy or wear such a sweater. What is really frightening to me is that she now looks exactly as she did in my dream. She has grown very tall, and her hair has grown quite long. I pray all the time that this dream is not prophetic, but merely a nightmare. But if it isn't just a nightmare, I'm hoping that by changing something, like the sweater might prevent it from happening.

These type of dreams and vision seem to be genetic, in that my mother has the same ability, as did my grandmother before her. My daughters are also showing signs of this now. Before I started experiencing it myself I saw it happen with my mother and grandmother, which is why I take it very, very seriously.

Sometimes a dream is simply a dream, but not always.

My nan believed in reincarnation and everything connected to the spirit. She said all things are possible.

When I started having precognitive dreams and such like, it didn't surprise her. I think having an open-mind makes the brainwaves link up to the ether and we pick up things from there.

Our brains are like radios that can receive and transmit information from various methods and esp, telepathy is only a fraction of what the mind is capable of doing.

has your doctor given you an mri or xrays of your skull/brain to see if you do not have a tumor or skull fracture?if not,ask him too.i have had miagraines 35 years, and i have never had a nosebleed with one,i have yet to awaken from a nightmare with one either.i control my miagraines now through medication.and i watch what i eat, drink as well.your dreams may seriously be telling you something my friend.next time you have on of these episodes, write down or record every detail about it you can.when you go and see your therapist, take your dream notes
with you.who knows he may be able to understand and interpet what is happening to you better.god bless you,and good luck.oh yeah,i would make it a point to get at least 5-7 hours sleep a night, for your body'd sake.

Hi there, I've never posted anything before on sites like this... I can tell you that many people have gifts. This may seem like a terrible thing for you to have but I suffer from some of the same problems. I think that maybe it's a gift from God. However I still go back and forth on that.

I've had dreams or what seemed like dreams ... kind of impressions or visions that have come true. It started when I was 21 years old. I started having de-cha-vu...all the time. It got really bad because other people would tell me stories and it was like I was there as an actor etc in their story. Things like that make you think that you are going crazy. But you aren't. It's best just to tell God to sheild you from things you aren't suppose to know or aren't too important.

Did you ever have a dream where somthing, someone was telling you that you had a gift??

I've only once been able to predict that something would happen before it did. It's hard to match your dream with a person you just met. But sometimes you can put the puzzle together. I did it once with two witnesses around me. I've read my boyfriends mind a few times and he's done the same to me.. Not your typical finish the sentance stuff either. I heard him say out loud one thing and heard him say another thing at the same time. He said one thing and thought the other thing. It's hard to explain

I kinda of think that humans are evolving mentally. Who knows that the other 92% of our brains are for right?

I've had dreams about the end of earth too. Not sure if they are true premonitions are not. God only knows, right? Mine involved the sky being very dark during the day. The moon or something very much like the moon was being pulled towards earth. It looked red and was VERY LARGE. Also had a dream about a virus wiping out much of the population on earth. I had the impression it had to do with a vaccine gone wrong. Something like the 12 monkeys show. The seasons were all messed up too... I also have had many nuclear war dreams...

Sometimes those dreams can just have to do with something in your concious life changing though. Something ending. I think you shouldn't read to much into dreams because it can just make you go crazy. Keep your faith in God... that's what matters.

You clearly are clairvoyant, I too see things usually while in a waking state, and only short blips. I can sympathize as I once felt the death of a young woman, I knew the point where she was struck as well as the location of her body at the time of her death. Every time I passed that area the imprint of her tragic death came back to me, for some 2 years, or so.

With regards to your health, please please please do not load up on drugs. Seek out the help of a Homeopathic or Naturopathic doctor. Migraines, sound like you suffer from restricted blood circulation, I use "Ginkgo Biloba" for circulation. The thyroid is something one should be cautious of messing with. Perhaps sea salt rather than table (rock) salt, to stimulate the thyroid. Do some research on your ailments. Try this addy for an allopathic approach. PM me if you wish to talk.
