I paint miniature figures for tabletop wargames, and I have a question for any of you painter/gamers out there.

I am currently painting 15mm figures for a WW2 game called Flames of War. My questions have to do with 'thinning' Games Workshop paints for use in an airbrush.

1 - Do you thin with water, or alcohol?

2 - What is the ratio of paint to thinner?

I received the 'brush a few years ago, and I think I may have used it once or twice. I would like to use it to base coat the figures before I begin the real painting. For these models, I would prefer not to use either white or black spray primer, as the one makes the color I'm using too dark, and the other makes it too light.

Thanks for any input, and I apologize if this topic has been posted before.
