The Scientist by Coldplay.

It used to mean a lot to me while I was seeing my ex-girlfiend, but now we've split up, it has even more relevance. Dunno what the song is about exactly, but I could really relate the lyrics to the situation I was in.

Let It Be...by The Beatles (which was written by Paul and basically a message to all 4 of them to just let everything be, because at the time they werent all on the best terms).

I know him. I actually have the CD. It is a beautiful rendition of that song.

Many of "Dead Can Dance's" songs are rather wistful and sad. Listening to "Carnival is Over" right now.

Jimmy Eat World's "Hear you me"-My brother use to listen to it nonstop when his friend died. A very beautiful song.

I just heard Hurt by NIN and I wanted to add that song, but then I realized that you had already said the cover haha. I like the NIN one better, but my mom likes the Johnny Cash one. they're both good I guess
