Heres some more information from a fan site i found, so therefore i dont know how true it is.
Here's what we know:
The game is a 1st & 3rd person shooter and takes place right before the Season 8 episode “Threads” and follows the attack of the Replicators on the Goa'uld. We'll be seeing a new enemy called the Haaken. They were “bottled up by the Ancients thousands of years ago and it turns out that Anubis has let them out”. Obviously, the Haaken are bad and all kinds of evil.
The storyline of the game is up to date with where the series is at and taps in to many of the major themes set up in the show over the years. "We have SG-1, Anubis, the Tok'Ra, the Re'tou, the Replicators, the Ancients (Oma and Shifu in particular) and the Haaken. It’s a storyline that fans of the show will love, but for those that are completely new to Stargate, they’ll be able to pick it up and follow along”.
Perception and the writers of Stargate SG-1 have been working together to produce a game as close to the show as a game will allow. That includes the humor we all know and love! Perception is also working closely with the U.S. Air Force to ensure the authenticity in the show will be carried into the game.
Probably one of the most important things you want to know about is if the original cast will do the voices in the game, right ? Well the answer is a big fat yes! Richard Dean Anderson, Amanda Tapping, Christopher Judge, Michael Shanks and Gary Jones have all recorded their voices for the game. We know that in total 11 characters from the show will be in the game. Who all of them are exactly, is anyones guess at this point.
You will never walk alone in the game; your team will always be there to look after you, as you must look after them. The design of the missions allow for several tactics to finish them and for each mission, you will play a different member with special tasks that fit his or her abilities. It's been said that players can hack, decipher runes, use melee weapons, utilize vehicles, cannons, a variety of alien weapons and other devices throughout the missions.
There will be 27 weapons and 3 vehicles at your disposal in the 16 main missions plus tutorial. There are more vehicles to be seen in the game of course. Fans are hoping the number of usable vehicles will rise, but we'll just have to wait and see.
Multiplayer and co-op play a very important part in the games development. With 8 multiplayer modes, some of them unique to the stargate setting and some of the classic ones like Death Match and Capture the Flag, the fans will not get bored any time soon. Add to that the 4 player co-op where you will go through the whole singleplayer campaign with your friends backing you up and the end result is excellent replay value.
You will experience all this on different worlds created with a heavily modified and graphically enhanced Unreal 2.5 engine which, by the looks of the screenshots and teaser trailer, looks amazing.
There's no specific release date at the moment exept for 'Late 2005'. New dates pop up every now and then, keep an eye on the news and our forums for up to date info. JoWood stated on their website that the game will be available in some countries in October. This page will be updated when a specific, confirmed release date is given though.
Stargate SG-1: The Alliance will be released on the PC, Xbox and Playstation2.
