in other worlds could a creature like the loch ness monster/ogopogo/champ really survive in the conditions provided by the loch/lake that its meant to live in?

Conspiracy
maybe, really depends on the size of the loch or lake so it can hide well, and depends on the food in there for it to survive really tongue.gif

mr_halo voted for Depends On The Actual Loch/Lake

as the size/access to the ocean/food supply would have a great impact on wether a creature/monster could survive in a loch/lake..

I think that is a good point Mr Halo, dependent if they have access to the sea or not could be a major factor on there survival. However the sheer size and volume of some Lochs and lakes dose tend to make me feel something could be there.

Sure they could. Deep water, underwater caves. Ample food supply of either algae or fish.. They could be lurking for sure. But the hard proof still eludes.

down where?, which lake/loch are you referring to?, just curious

I think these animals could be relatives of the Plesiosaurus. It might be in Loch Ness, Kelowna Canada, Great lakes of North America, Russia and elsewhere.

Down. In general. Anything could be 'down there' Under the sea, lakes/lochs...Under the crust...etc.

But Nessie, I think, is an amphibian{SP} and not a reptile...Did think she was a mammal...But, not a pleasiosaur.

a good theory, plus if nessie is amphibian as you suggest, this would unable the creature to hide in more places yes.gif
